It’s an eye opener when you finally realise that they(any of them) don’t represent any of you, only themselves. Can remember someone saying don’t vote on who’s going to help you but on who does you the least damage

This yes! remember smoking half a packet of fags at games in the stands. Haven't touched one in over 15 years.

I raise you one Steve Bruce. Granted he looks like an old, ugly woman.

That Sol Campbell was 1 of the best Premier League Centre Halfs before Zamora dumped him on his arse scoring and sent him packing home crying at Half Time when we then went on to become the last Club to beat the Gooners at the Library.

living abroad. Was always sure I would move somewhere else. Was Australia for years. Then France. Sometimes Turkey. Not that they aren’t great places. Just realised the importance of community and how much distance there will be between yourself and the community you move into.

Prioritising West Ham fixtures around holidays. Early 20’s I’d absolutely ensure I didn’t miss Spurs and Chelsea. Not sure exactly when it changed, but I couldn’t care what fixtures I miss now. Seems a bit silly on reflection but all part of growing up! Still try to make sure I watch the games wherever I am in the world. Arguably prefer it, meeting other West Ham fans on travels.
Also whisky. Similarly age related. Love it as I’ve got older.
