Just looking at this list my bro in law had a brilliant 3 year amateur career ‘82 to ‘85 before heroin took hold of him.

in those years he beat Calzaghe, Naseem and Robin Reid

In terms of making the weight and being able to carry the punching power one boxer that I recall having some issues was our very own Mark Kaylor 

He was a tall rangy fighter who campaigned as I remember almost exclusively at middleweight during his prime before stepping up unsuccessfully to light heavy.

The super middleweight division which which I would of thought he would of been a natural for his size didn't seem to be recognised at that time although I think he did have a couple of fights at it towards the end of his career.

He was also probably born a few years too soon as a decade or so later super middleweight became the glamour division with the likes of Benn Eubank Watson Collins and later on Calzaghie.

I could imagine him having some great tear ups with some of that lot for the domestic titles although to be honest despite being a tough fucker I think he may of come up a bit short against the likes of Calzaghie and Collins in their prime although Ill stand to be corrected on that by the sites boxing officenados.

I enjoyed following his career during my youth none the less.







 

The domestic division was decent back then as well, Herol Graham, Tony Sibson, Errol Christie

Wardley is a pretty limited boxer but an really punch..He was absolutely schooled by Justis Huni until that KO punch.
Parker can really box and hits hard as well and should win unless Wardley gets lucky again.

 

 

Parker that got outworked and stopped by Joyce, outboxed by Anthony Joshua, dropped and beaten by Whyte, Nicked a win over Ruiz many didn't think he should have and got off the floor twice to scrape a majority against Zhang? 

Parker had a good win over Wilder, but no on really knows if that means anything anymore, as Wilder simply hasn't done anything when he's gone in with the real top ones.

Did you agree with the "experienced" judges on the Jack Catterall Josh Taylor fight? Don't tell me, you need to watch it.

Think it has the potential to be a decent bout fella. Although not too sure Usyk will lose any sleep whoever wins. 

Same. He could have called it quits by now and they'd be no qualms. He loves it though and can't seem to give it up just yet.

Been in 2 minds with it but I think Parkers gonna do it an all on points. He's 1 tough cսnt who is prepared to take the pain for it. Wardley has that devastating knock out but something tells me it won't stop Parker. I think it's got the potential to be a special fight whoever does come out on top. Hopefully Wardley being the Englishman but can't see it. 

And whoever does I think then sets it up nicely for Usyk who seems to want more.
