It's time...
Come home Paolo
It needs to happen, it is the only thing that makes sense.
The club is absolutely fucked, on every conceivable level. We're down, regardless of who comes in now. Nuno has to go immediately, and regardless of who we bring in, no one is up for it, the players, the fans, the club is dead.
The one and only thing that would put some fuel in the clapped out Skoda, is Di Canio. The stadium would be absolutely rocking, the players will have no choice but to fight to the death, or he'd fillet their hearts out, and most of all, it would feel like West Ham again.
There has to be a campaign for it. Nothing else would come close.

But I'm 100% correct on this. Never been so sure it's the right thing to do for this football club at this moment in time.
It's what the long suffering fans need, especially those who turn up week in, week out with something to genuinely look forward to. I'd pay through the nose for a spare on one of those bandy travel ticket exchanges if need be to get a fix, so god knows what the likes of yourself would feel with what you've had to put up with.
Trudging to that hell hole I know it aint easy at all.

Re: It's time...
I remember it. Showing off his West Ham tatt at the time when interviewed, swashbuckling attacking games, even gripsing up his own lump of a Striker by the throat in front of everyone around the players tunnel and I think even Clarke was made to apologise afterwards!
He even did a remarkable instant job of somehow keeping Sunderland up against all the odds (ring any bells with us right now..). Sure he got off to a bad start the following season but there were more things going on behind the scenes with their wanker of an Owner Ellis Short who ran the Club in to the ground.
If only for the short term, he's proven he can make a successful instant impact and the only thing that's different is he actually loves this Club dearly which would be even more spicey than normal. Eeries a twat for getting me bang up for this now when we all know the poison dwarf would rather continue with this fun sapping fraud.

People seem to write PDC off as just shouty & emotional, but we’re talking about someone who has played under the best coaches around and had a fantastic record at Swindon.

As for Feet, he's the site laughing stock, you're in good company. Why do you resort to saying “ you’ve never been to a game “ whenever you are losing an argument? You are a bit of a cսnt if I’m being honest. Your knowledge of West Ham’s history is very limited and to want Di Canio in charge shows what a bell end you are. Sad pathetic loser. At least that doesn't apply to you, as you did your first game recently against Villa.

Re: It's time...
My view is that we’re 99% down now anyway. We have no chance of staying in the Premier League under Nuno or any of Sullivan’s UB40 stooges.
So, fuck it, for the sake of five months of bonkers entertainment and lunacy - and some sort of atmosphere in that soul-less bowl - why not try PDC?
If we fail, and fall into the Championship, well, most of us expect that now. And then we could think about a full-club rebuild and a longer-term manager.

Another fake fan, I know for an absolute fact you've never been to one of our games in your life. You're a weedy screeching whingebag.
You're as West Ham as Ginger Bob.
You won't know who that is, obviously.

It desperately needs fight, it needs passion and full on entertainment that excites the entire Stadium and Away fans to everyone's core.
Something that is going to energise a fanbase to want to rush back in to the stands to back this sorry side that's sleepwalking in to the Championship like zombie mongs.
A quick reminder that it's on record now that the last match at Home could only attract about 30,000. - THIRTY FUCKING THOUSAND FRASER'S MATE CONFIRMED THIS BY TEXT - So it's clear that a huge sway of us are currently sick to the back teeth of the endless dross and resigned feeling of the inevitable bored to fucking tears. That aint West Ham, this aint really us but we ain't been given any hope or a desire to back this Team whilst Sullivan and Brady pile drive this Club in to the ground.
So the present situation calls for a West Ham maverick or at least someone who genuinely loves the Club and would give their all wanting to tap in to every reserve that's available to them to get us firing again. Negative Nuno aint that man, nor was pondering Potter this season who have both drained us of any enjoyment. We should want to see fireworks on the touchline near the dug out, explosive cool as fuck inspiring Press Conferences that gets not just us going but just as importantly the players too.
The players look shell-shocked and in desperate need to be inspired. So fucking give it to us with an appointment that would ignite us all offering 1 last push and at the very least give the long suffering fans some fucking fun on the way out if it's already too late. Personally I don't think it would be terminal with such a change but continuing with this current homeless down and out with no connection to the Club it certainly is.
Make it fucking fun again, it's the least the fans deserve now and a timely reminder of what used to make us different and a bit special...
You could do this - and it would definitely be spectacular, no question. But would Paolo want to work under Sullivan and put his reputation at West Ham at risk (given that, in all likelihood, it would fail to keep us up)? That's the last of anyone's worries, including him. Some of our fans are slagging him off anyway, weirdly. He epitomises every that is special about this club.
I'm not seeing a single negative, given what we've been through the last 2 seasons. Come on, if he was in charge, EVERY proper West Ham fan is going to make sure they're at that stadium, and it would be rocking, his song being mellowed out. Hairs on the back of your neck stuff.
Is anyone really telling me they'd rather some cսnt come in, talking about double pivots, distances and turnovers and all that bollocks, trying to bed in yet another boring new sysrem? To what end?
West Ham need him.
I’m not averse to giving it a go until the end of the season. It would be entertainingly mental!

10000%. The West Ham loving mad cսnt would love it and wouldn't give a fuck about his reputation. He loves himself far too much for that to ever bother him. And should it all come crashing down when it's over he'll likely chase Sullivan around the Stadium on a Vespa attempting to whip him butt naked with a towel caked in burning hot oil. Win, win.

I said the other day that NES has to go immediately, to be replaced by someone with WHU connections. Sadly I doubt that whoever came in would be able to rescue us from the drop. The ineptitude of Sullivan and the last three managers have seen to that.
So the idea of Paulo coming in actually fills me with hope and excitement. I would love it, love it.
Come on Paulo, the club needs you now.

Re: It's time...
It’s obvious now that Sullivan feels the current incumbent is the man to see this through. I’m not sure how many more embarrassing losses we need to encounter before he’s put out of him misery, if he is even fired at all. It’ll take a lot more than PDC to lift the dark gloom that’s been hanging over the LS for quite some time.
I noticed the beer garden in the ground (another attempt to disneyfy the place) was full before the game. You can’t keep pissing and moaning about the shithole and state of the club, while spending more of your hard earned in there.

Just to add, you're also not taking into consideration who owns the club. We have someone who has shown he cannot work with a DOF, cannot choose a decent manager if his life depended on it, and is shocking at recruitment.
So yeah, by all means, let's not 'hark' back to the past. Let's just continue what we're doing, hire another dull, uninspiring manager who has no connection to the club, the fans will shrug their shoulders, and the stadium will still be a chore, rather than somewhere exciting. Perfect.
But at least no one will be harking back to the old days, and fans in far flung places will still be OK watching on the tele. Brilliant

Paolo was my hero I worshipped him, I'd love it if he came let's try something different ffs we're going down anyway may aswell do it in a blaze of glory and have a bit of fun.
Canning town Len just said on his podcast, he knows for a fact when paolo came over for his last show he went to the game, and was so appalled he went to Sullivan personally and asked for a job (might have been a striker coach or something he did say) and Sullivan wasn't having it..

Re: It's time...
As with others, you are completely missing the point. And again, this is not meant as a criticism, but because you don't go over to the shithole every week, you don't understand just how dead, boring and MORIBUND it is over there. West Ham are dying.
This is not about harking back to the old days, this is about lifting everything. The club, the players, but most importantly, the fans. We've lost a lot of the old school who you seem to be digging out, we need them back. And more importantly, we need to keep the newbies, and they need to know what West Ham is about.
Boring negative managers, project managers, that is not what this football club needs at this moment in time. We are not getting new owners any time soon, but the whole place needs an injection, badly.
Think about it properly, before coming out with what has become a cliche with knocking the old West Ham.
