The virtual acceptance of relegation has been disturbed by this reducing of two points on our deficit with Forest.
Now we have the stress of dealing with a scintilla of hope until the next league game.

Re: Baldie, Slap Head, Chrome Dome - JWP
So it turns out that JWP is a baldist.
Baldism is not that prevalent but if this JWP news spreads it might deeply, emotionally effect those amongst us who are folliclely challenged.

Re: VAR
The bafflement, of the fans at the stadium, and others watching on tv arose because it took several minutes for a decision to be made.
Re: VAR
The position of Haaland was quite clearly not obscuring anyone’s view so I can only conclude that he was deemed to be committing a foul by blocking the keeper and defender. And that decision should hold good regardless of whether or not Haaland was in an offside position or Newcastle had a defender ...
Re: VAR
It matters not what the criteria for offside are deemed to be because it is the delay in making a decision that causes the problem. So how about, when the var shows it is too close to call, giving the benefit of doubt to the attacker. And where the concern is whether or not an attacker is interferin...
Re: VAR
Five minutes to decide whether or not Haaland, who was offside but did not touch the ball, interfered with the play.
Problem is the huge inconsistency with interpretation.

Re: VAR
Watched the game last night and the var officials robbed City of a 3-0 result. Furthermore the officials demonstrated, as usual, that they are the problem not the technology.

Re: It's time...
Not a good idea at all because if PDC turned up it would be all about him. And who would look after the team when away games are further north than Watford?

Next season we need to start with Scott Parker as manager. He will be able to apply the breaks and prevent consecutive relegations.

Re: The Official Politics Thread (enter at your own risk)
In truth the so called international rules have been broken regularly over the years ignored by many countries in the west when they saw fit. Trump’s capturing of a tin pot dictator from a tin pot country is no big deal compared to the UK and France taking over the Suez Canal in 1956 and the he ille...

Re: Farewell Füllkrug
I chose Thomas over Gerd because he is extant thus saving us the costs of exhumation.
Though thinking about it I have seen a few players turn up at the club whereupon a fan has asked where we dug him up from.

If I have this correct we will be making a bid for keeper Nick Pope. He together with Jesus both coached by the saint’s ghost should ensure we escape relegation.

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
Our most urgent need is to stop conceding circa two goals a game so an effective defender or two is needed at least as much as forwards.

Coyi, for you to call yourself a valuable contributor is Trump level delusion.
However if you change the word valuable to vexatious it more fits your contributions.

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
We cannot defend effectively and this has been the case since the last two seasons of Moyes’ stewardship through to Nuno.
Beats me why none of our last four managers have been able to address the defending issue.
