US Politics Thread
Seems like the main politics thread is becoming a Yankee-Doodle Trump-fest, so maybe scope here to split them out.
Will see if this one gains any traction ..if it does will move over a few of the million posts from our two protagonists from the other thread.
Yee-haaa!

Many that used to live there but fled because of the Regime have also been part of these widespread celebrations globally, not just the younger generation that haven't.
It’s easy to celebrate when you’re not living there. Those still there have seen the infrastructure of their country destroyed but with no regime change.
It's only been 12 days, it took God 6 days to create the world so cut him a bit of slack.

And there are positives that are coming from this war. I take it that you don't give him any credit during his time as President.
As for Starmer, he gets plenty of credit for improving the NHS, much needed planning reform, rise to national minimum wage, supporting Ukraine, getting trade deal with India and the US, childcare and education. There are no positives from this war, and longer term it’ll be worse. Every time a school gets blown up, or a US serviceman gets killed, or the price of oil goes up do I have to caveat with a positive footnote?
Does anyone force you to give credit to Starmer for something completely unrelated when you criticise him?

But then the deaths of 1500 civilians, including school kids is on him. As is the obliteration of Irans infrastructure including schools, hospitals and energy. As is the death and injury of any US servicemen. And the economic hardship this is causing and will cause globally.

Is it fair to say that Trump doesn't get the credit for taking out the 47 commanders in Iran when given the go-ahead to achieve it

You on the other hand clearly support Putin and Iran
If your tiny brain cannot comprehend simple things that really isn’t my problem.
Not wanting to join an unwinnable war doesn’t automatically mean you’re pro the other side.
Maybe try getting your 9 year old Cambodian girlfriend to explain this to you.

Qatar and Iran were close, I was working in Qatar in 2027 when the Saudis and the rest of the UAE placed and embargo on them and much of the food came from Iran

The Iranian police chief said that any anti regime protesters would be treated like the enemy, The dislike for the Kurds is not just the ruling class its the normal dislike of the nationalists for the biggest minority

You’re as dumb as a rock joyo.
The whole world knows it, and yet every country aside from Israel refused to join in.
No word on the orange rapist taking sanctions off Russian oil then? Course not, sticking to your own as always.

No, the solution is to crush the Iranian Regime from bullying other Countries by neutering them badly. The one's pissing those off in the Region is the Iranian Regime showing their true colours by lashing out indiscriminately (their modus operandi) at neighbour states. It's the Yanks that neighbours like Qatar are thanking for offering. Right I'm having to raise the White flag for now as Madrid just scored a 5th!🏳
Qatar, Saudi and UAE are all pissed that Trump started this. They know what Iran is like, but had coexisted with them reasonably well. Now their tourism is in bits as is the reputation as a safe haven.
Thats why they are in his ear telling him to stop.
The Iranian regime still stands and now with an apparent harder line leader with a dead father to avenge.

Couple it all with the nuclear weapons programme and production issue this past 6 months, as well as the attacks on Israel/US base, then yeah it's a major issue that needed addressing. There isn't one reliable bit of evidence which shows they have the capability of building a nuclear weapon.
They certainly haven't produced any nuclear weapons.
Iran still has highly enriched uranium stocks and The IAEA estimates that when Israel launched its first attacks in June, Iran had 440.9 kg of 60% of enriched uranium.
They only need 3% enrichment for public use like energy.
Maybe the IAEA are lying to us and in on it as well.
Shame that Trump tore up the nuclear treaty with Iran then.
This will be a lesson to other countries that have nascent nuclear programmes to get them completed as soon as possible as they are sitting ducks and at the mercy of the whims of whoever is POTUS given that congress has no backbone any more..
People such as Kim Jong Un will have learned this,

So the solution is making the Middle East even more unstable, pissing off key allies in the region, breeding further anti west feelings and laying the foundation for a global economic crisis.
I’d hate to see what plan B was.

But no capability to turn any of that into weapons.
And if they did the UN security council would have approved any action.
They didn't have the capability and this is an illegal war.
It was about regime change, then it was nuclear weapons and then the threat of an imminent attack.
Now its about complete surrender.
No good will come from all of this.
