I still haven't got over 2006..
never watched it and never will...the feeling that afternoon was beyond cruel
It's really tough to even think about it, had we won that it would have put a different reflection on our entire history imo. We still talk about and celebrate 1980 and this would have had 26 years on that, and would have been a 'modern day' triumph. A great shame.

Personal convenience aside maybe the Monday night slot isn't so bad, as said it gives us more rest from the prior Wednesday game and IF we do get a good draw beforehand it could be really good over there under the lights.

Monday night game now ...so we will know the draw beforehand .
We've been there before
....bring it on I say... inevitable that we will face one of the darlings if we can beat Brentford fc.
I don't care which

Any chance they will go with QPR prices to get a full house ie £15 or thereabouts?
Almost certain to be similarly reduced.

Re: The Emirates FA Cup 5th round draw
If we're serious about the Cup this is the best date. An extra couple of days rest and 5 days before the next game. Expect Brentford to go full strenght as their next game is the following Monday, plus they have very winnable games thus a European spot is within their reach.
However we could be dead and buried or out of the relagation by then.
Can't understand the logic of some of the other fixtures.
Wolves play Liverpool on the Friday 3 days after playing them on the Tuesday. Other teams play on the Wednesday then Saturday.Teams who play on the Tuesday play on Sunday. Doubt very much the FA were consulted .The big boys all play on the Saturday thus they'll be moaning about schedules etc. BBC have no game on Sunday WTF. Don't get it.

Every round you’ve predicted that, fucking boring now.

So in who's interest is it?
Agree. All ties should be concluded before any draw is made. Given there are no replays anymore its not even difficult. Draw straight after the Monday game ends.

At least we'll know before the game if it's worth even getting into the next round.

If we beat Brentford I think we might get lucky with quarter final draw.

Well it would get us into Europe as well and might be th difference between players leaving or deciding to stay for another season, if we should go down.

I would absolutely love us to win it.
I would take winning the cup and finished 18th if offered that guarantee.
