Re: Chelsea vs West Ham | PL | 31.1.26 | Predictions & Match Thread

Our defence is weak but the keeper offers them no assurance from crosses. His positioning is poor and he can't dominate a penalty area and clear/catch high balls. Good shot stopper but a flapper. We look decent going forward now so for christ sake let's just do that for the rest of the season and ho...

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread

Only Ipswich of the three relegated clubs last year look like they have a chance of going back up straight away which doesn't bode well.........

Re: West Ham vs Nottingham Forest | PL | 6.1.26 | Predictions and Match Thread

What do the coaching staff drill into Summerville all week? - How to run down blind alleys constantly with your head down? How not to make off the ball runs to create space? How to never mark anyone when tracking back? It's baffling. Then we have the zonal marking from set pieces. It doesn't work. W...

Fair point CS. Can't see a way out with the current set up so we need to take a gamble or we'll just drop down with a whimper.

Re: West Ham vs Brighton | PL | 30.12.25 | Prediction and Match Thread

Dunk and van hecke are painfully slow. Once Wilson came off the obvious thing to do was play Bowen through the middle. Paqueta will never be a striker and is our best through ball passer to pace in Bowen and Summerville. Idiotic from the manager

Re: Nuno Out

Nuno is an average premier league manager doing obvious things with a poor squad which will see us relegated. Do something different- leave 1/2 up from corners, play on the front foot and look forward rather than back when passing. I’d rather we went down fighting rather than this weak surrender. Br...

Re: West Ham vs Aston Villa | PL | 14.12.25 | Predictions and Match Thread

Trudging back to Pudding Mill Lane station wasn't much fun yesterday past hoards of gloating brummies taking the piss on our home turf. Wasn't really an issue yesterday but that amount of mingling straight after matches could get very lively with different opposition.

Re: West Ham vs Palace | PL | 20.9.25 | Predictions and Match Thread

potter realistically had to win today to save his job he played ward prowse he played that nonsensical sideways/backwards "play from the back possession football" he didn't sort out the set piece defending he kept ward prowse on for the whole game he dropped pacqueta to centre back when we...

He played Paqueta at centre half at 2-1 down at home. And Paqueta was our best defender

Defending the near post constantly when all their corners went deep to a gaggle of free players - 13x - is a new level of “coaching” stupidity

Re: Potter Out

We have two new mobile central midfielders. He played one on the right and one on the bench. Soucek is too slow and his sending off was down to that. Criminal after that that potter didn’t instantly reorganise from sidelines and soucek’s man nodded in the killer goal. Potter is a total fraud

Re: September internationals

Andorra has a population of 88,000. They lost to Gibraltar recently. Pathetic for pundits to prattle on about no easy games. Portugal put 5 past Armenia tonight - Ronaldo scored 2. It annoys me to see our players swanning around lazily in games like this - winners roll over teams like this. We are o...

Taking you seats late is a good call. I'm always happy to spend another few minutes supping and the empty seats at kick off would definitely be picked up by the TV people.

Re: Potter Out

He’s out of his depth and been rumbled. We all know it and so does the rest of the league. ‘potter ball’ doesn’t work any more with the right players. With the wrong ones it’s a total disaster. Forest walk through us then the spurs game will be toxic and even Sullivan will have to react. We pay off ...
