I thought I could remember him saying he'd contact the Network. Presumably he was also TwinHammer1 then, which I think was the user that posted about it the most.
We've had a few 'interesting' posters over the years!

Human Teeth - old Hugh, bless him, with his love of goaltenders. Was he also in the Network?

Well done on a smooth transition while also adding notable improvements.
Both the match reports and the view from the opposition threads always seemed to be popular reads - perhaps someone could be persuaded to resurrect those?

Re: Could Spurs get relegated?
They’ll certainly need to improve their home form if they can’t even beat Leicester. Their last 5 away games could at least make it interesting: Chelsea Wolves Liverpool West Ham Aston Villa They also managed to get relegated in 1977 despite having Pat Jennings and their god Hoddle in the team. it w...

Re: Oradour-sur-Glane
I've been re-watching the amazing World at War series again - it's currently available on "U". Just one fascinating fact that stayed with me is that more Russians died in the siege of Leningrad than the British and American deaths combined for the duration of the war. FMOB on that one!

Sir Chris Hoy has terminal cancer
48 years old and presumably always looked after himself - just goes to show keeping fit only gets you so far. No-one's safe!

Re: Pablo
Great article. Particularly interesting to read that Moyes did a glowing leaving speech for him, as it looked like he didn't want to play him in the end. My favourite PL WHU player, and I was proper gutted when he was sold.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Thanks Zeb - I've joined up as Boston Blitz.
I think we normally have 12 teams but it'll depend how quick the rest get to see your update as to how many teams we have, especially as the game's are coming thick and fast.

Re: If you could erase one goal from football history what would it be?
Let's bring this back - there must be loads of goals that can be erased to make our lives less miserable. How about the Stoke penalty that Bobby initially saved in 1972? Would we have gone on to beat Chelsea in the Final?

Does anyone know Crystal to see if he's going to be able to arrange the draft?
Re: Club Cash
I got a text too, so I emailed the club. If you got the Club Cash this year then it won't expire until 31/08/24. I ended up using mine to buy a replica shirt.

"Haven't they changed the rules on when VAR can intervene for a handball? So only if it's to give a penalty or if the player who scores has handled? Wasn't that why the ""basketball"" incident with Thilo Kehrer had to be ignored?"

"Side, completely agree, but... we are West Ham and we constantly lose easy games! EFL Cup got much more difficult when Pep arrived too! Being West Ham, of course it was us who stopped his monopoly on the trophy. I think probably 90% or so of our fan base would rather win the EFL (UK fans, I'd say, ...

"I'm in Band 4 (BM Lower), and have kept a note of my season ticket prices going back many years: '24/25 = £670, going up 6.3% next season '23/24 = £630, up 7.7% on '22/23 '22/23 = £585, up 5.4% on '21/22 So in those 3 seasons it's gone up 20.7% overall.
