Blimey! Worked 1st time and without a fuss. Lady Muck if you're watching, "be in no doubt that this really is the best fans migration in history!"

Now about that utterly useless cսnt, Soucek..... 😉

And excellent work guys whoever helped to sort it all out, appreciate it.

Particularly like the reply option
Emojis
Embedding pics and videos and other links to articles

couple of questions :
  1. Will you be adding the old photo banner at the top that used to scroll through classic West Ham pictures to give it the old look and feel
  2. The likes you can add against comments - can that be extended to include Laugh, Love, Hate etc rather than have to actually reply?
Expect we'll collate a list of ideas and see what we can do, as some are easier to deliver than others.  At the moment the photo banner is what it is (we took some of the old photos, some new ones, and combined them to make a new static banner, but I like the idea of having it not be static).

The 'likes' thing is an interesting one...does extending it potentially reduce post volumes/interaction as its easier just to hit the 'hate' button that call someone a cսnt?  Maybe we'll stick a thread up of ideas for 'improvements' and we'll see which ones people 'like' the most. The new platform does at least give us scope to extend the features that are available though.

this, gets confusing when it resets if you post a reply
You should be able to set it permanently from within the User Control Panel.  Want topics and posts to be set to 'descending' within it.

We'll look to see if we can set this as default for all users given the feedback around this

oioi wrote: 28 Aug 2024, 15:05 Do we have to have the 'Who is Online' section?

Is it just me that finds it a bit creepy that everyone can see how often I am on this site?

Also, can I set the thread order to be 'descending' as the default setting? I have been changing it every time I log on which, as everyone can see, is far too often.
Perfectly possible to take it away.

Re the thread and post ordering....see the 4th bullet in this thread:

viewtopic.php?t=7
Saw the 4th bullet, went to settings, changed to descending, went back to thread, still set on ascending. Went back to settings, definitely set on descending. Can't work it out. Screen needs a wipe?
Check it looks like the attached image (there are two sections to set):
