The Official Cowdenbeath 2024-25 Season Thread - Scottish Lowland Football League
Yes, it is the thread you have all been waiting for. The mighty COO go once again in 2024/2025 and I am going to stick my neck out and say that the COO will walk the league this season and win it by a record margin with a record points haul.
After some consolidation in recent seasons the whispers coming out from the staff, players, manager, executives and fans is one of absolute confidence which is refreshing to see and hear.
Nothing will stop us this season, and I don’t even want to hear about the scum from Kelty Hearts, they mean NOTHING to us.

"WHU(Exeter) 2:34 Wed Jun 12 OK, thanks. I had a look on https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jack-denham/profil/spieler/841588 and seems he was not a regular starter last season. Just the one card (Red) so no ""Paqueta"" option. Will have a sniff around on a few betting sites to see if something on him is available, just to add a little extra spice to the weekends."

"Mike, the player will be Jack Denham. I had to sort it with the COO last weekend, as there were only a few players left to sponsor and was having lots of problems accessing WHO, as I think quite a few others were, so got in whilst we still had time."

Re: The Official Cowdenbeath 2024-25 Season Thread - Scottish Lowland Football League
"Len, £25 received - cheers. I’ve sent them the £200 this morning, as there were only 4 players left needing the sponsorship, and didn’t want to miss out by leaving it any later. (Have found it hard to access this site the last few days to update. Had this from The COO yesterday… “ I would suggest Jack Denham as your sponsored player and yes the Sponsor name will be westhamonline.co.uk. Welcome aboard. Look forward to seeing you or your supporters at Central Park during the season. I will arrange for a photograph of Jack wearing the new strip to be sent to you once this is available.” Have asked them that we be the sponsors of Jack… Thanks for the contributions so far. Those who were going to contribute, if you could send it via PayPal to [email protected] would be appreciated. Westhamonline.co.uk will be featuring in THE BLUE BRAZIL next season."

"If anybody wants to contribute to the player shirt sponsorship, you can paypal me at [email protected] (i think that's how it works?!) if you let me know either on here or e-mail, I can then confirm payment and update on what we've got (have had a lot of problems logging into the site lately, so if I can't get on, just bung me an e-mail) as per below (latest e-mail from the COO), only 4 shirts left, so I will look to send the money to them this weekend. Cheers... ""I should say how pleased we are with your interest in Cowdenbeath. The cost of sponsoring a player is £200 - for this your name appears each home game in the Blue Brazilian magazine and on the Blue Brazil site. At the end of the season you are given a shirt with the same number as the sponsored player. We currently have four players awaiting sponsors and as yet the fixtures are not yet released so I cannot give you details of the matches. The name of the player sponsor can be ""WHO COO"" . If you decided to proceed I will give you details of the bank account etc."""

"WHU(Exeter) 7:36 Thu Jun 6 It wasn't a personal dig at you, rather a dig at the type of poster who has a pop all the time at stuff like this. If it did come across as a slight against you then I can only apologise with my deepest regret at managing to give you the wrong message. These tangents are often what make WHO what it is and I would be very disappointed if I were to be responsible for knocking one (like this) out of kilter."

"WTF are you on about? hundreds of posts on these threads over the last few seasons and practically all of them have been tongue in cheek. you've single handedly managed to change all of that in two or three posts. all I was doing was letting people know what the options would be. Where have I mentioned at all, that I'd be out of pocket? Over to someone else now though, for the simple reason I want absolutely nothing to do with you."

"We WON""T have less than ¬£200. And, in keeping with the friviolity (for us, at least) of this, I don't really care who we end up sponsoring - in fact, I might go as far as suggesting an extra pony for any/every goal the chosen player scores, and an Ayrton for every assist. Fuck it! Let's push the boat out and party like it's 2024!! Not like we have a shortage of fucking boats at the moment. YOU!, yes YOU, you miserable cսnt, desperate to have a pop at something...anything...on here will not be expected to dip into your sky, so shut the fuck up, already."

Re: The Official Cowdenbeath 2024-25 Season Thread - Scottish Lowland Football League
"++++Traction and an EXCITING UPDATE++++ The Coo have got back with; ""Great to know that Cowdenbeath has supporters on West Ham Online. Welcome to our Club. It would be a privilege to have you sponsor one of our players and I will send you a list of those players who are available for sponsorship in the next day or two. You would be made very welcome if you decided to visit Central Park and if you wish to sponsor a game the cost of that would be £250. Sponsoring the ball is £125 and of course you are given a ball signed by all the players. Will be in touch"" I agree with Len that the sponsorship should be entitled 'westhamonline.co.uk' I will set up a paypal thing within the next couple days, if people really do want to contribute £25 each. Bare with me though, as I am an utter luddite with stuff like this and avoid IT outside work as much as poss (aside from this site). Will post up the payment details after I've sorted it. Unless anyone has strong objections, we'll... See how much is in the kitty after 5 days after setting up If we have £200 decide on the player anything over goes to the WHO Fund If we come in significantly less than £200, we go for the boots sponsorship thing, or a match ball option later when the season starts (£125). I'll write back, thank them and ask about if it gets put in the Blue Brazil etc...."
