"Stavros in the short time he’s been here has got done in the air for goals far too many times for my liking, and as I feared kilman looks slow& ponderous when the balls on the floor round his ankles ."

"These two games highlight the serious issue we have Whilst no team has fielded their strongest starting XI, it shows quite clearly that both wolves and Crystal Palace have far better squad players than we do"

"Yep, now Potts is off we have no midfield. Now we are 1-3 down Antonio and Potts off we concede 2. Looking poor now after defent first half. Kilman turned too easily"

"Can't string two passes together, the defense looks second rate and shaky, Palace look way way better. It's fucking shit."

"Whilst there is an intent from the back to play out more, within a few passes we launch it and lose it. We're not playing through the middle, and there is very little connection with any attacking players at all. We could easily be 4-0 down. We look absolute shit."

"Apart from conceding within 23 seconds and given our mid-field is made up of Soucek Potts JWP and Emmerson the first half was not too bad. Although Potts being replaced by Aguerd doesn't bode well for the second half, we will see unless I fall asleep!"

"7am here so will watch second half, it will be shit though because it's a friendly, all friendlies are shit. Kylay - Sorry pal, you're really sad to miss it but didn't want to spend 500 bucks? An oxymoron there. How much did you think it would cost?"

Game was fairly even but we improved after the drunks break when Loppy was urging the need to press as a team which we did We still look a little vulnerable in derence but Kilman and Mavropanas a better combo than all others so far in preseason. Coufal exposed by speed if Edwardo at times and you can see why the new coach is bringing in reinforcements there and for Soucek and Jwp in midfield where we arevstruggling to transition to and create attacking opportunities. Potts looks very comfortable and Antonio has done well in terms of control and distribution as lone striker. Aguerd on for Potts? So not sure who’s in midfield 2nd half

"Really sad to miss this, but couldn't find a flight round trip from atlanta for less than $400 and the cheapest ticket at halftime is still $35. Have to be a bit mad to drop half a grand even with a free place to stay. Interesting to see how we're playing under the new gaffer. very much look like a team in transition. Glad to see us getting away from our old style, but it's clearly going to take some time."

Anyone who pays a fiver to watch a friendly after midnight needs their head testing. Anyone who has made the trip should just enjoy their holiday and not worry about the game.
