Zouma Failed Medical

Post Nick QQQ »

Not really a surprise is it. Can't bend his legs. I can't imagine it was a very long medical. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ckg20z8170vo

Is Zouma due a testimonial? If he is then the club can at least get the fans to cough up some of the money to fund his pay-off.

If he cant pass a medical to play walking beach football in Saudi then he obviously isnt up to Premier league football Obviously we have told him to find another club so if he cant do that then he should retire Either way we need his wages off our books and a replacement with two working legs in

He's a remarkably good player for someone so clearly in physical difficulty. But what's between his ears can only compensate so much for what's between his thighs and shins. If he can communicate what's between his ears he might make a good coach.

I remember the rumor on here at the time we signed him was that he didn't pass that medical and would never be able to pass a medical. He looks and moves like he's playing through pain.

Thing is most people on here predicted he would fail his medical. So think the club were chancing their arm. I'd been interested if he would still pass our medical probably! :-(.

They can't make him retire - especially as he can clearly still play. I reckon we'll release him and he'll join them anyway. His knees can't have been a surprise to them.

"Well, at least he's only got one year left on his contract so it's not a disaster and it's never harmful to have an extra body in case of injuries. However I wonder if anyone would be prepared to take him on loan for the season? Might find a taker to get a portion of his wages off the books at least."
