"bobby - Sounds great, I've never been to Maureen's, but will try to get there at some point. It would have to be a can of coke though, for me."

"First time my old man took me for Pie & Mash, in Leytonstone somewhere, I remember the plate went on the table and he said 'there's enough eyes in that mash potato to see you through to next week'....."

Kelly's Roman road Maureen's Chrisp street There is also one in Canning town but that's not quite up to the level of the other two imo I think you can also still get Pie and mash at the ground (Tony's) but never tried it.

"If you're coming from Kings Cross, there's one in Camden called Castle's, right near the overground station about 5 mins walk from the tube or 20 walking from Kings Cross. I haven't been there for about 15 years though so no idea on the quality. They do tend to just shut it for a couple of weeks when they go on summer holiday though so that might be worth checking if you're thinking of this month."

"Sydney posting like he's on Facebook, the OP is after a Pie N Mash situated between Kings X and the ground, not your life story for fucks sake :-) Sounds like you're a bit home sick."

"Whenever I'm in the UK i go to the Golden Pie, in Lavender Hill, not far from Clapham Junction. Last visit was a bit sad, always went here before going to games with my brother-in-Law, but he sadly died after a short battle with Cancer during Covid, the Luton game last season was tough. In the UK again in September so a double pie and mash followed by treacle pudding, bring it on!"

"Noted Eel & Pie House in Leytonstone is nice, and just a couple of stops back to stratford. I think two pies, mash, liquor and a mug of tea is about eight quid https://www.notedeelandpiehouse.co.uk/"
