England v Bosnia

"Our boy Bowen starts in 1 of the warm-up games to try and impress before heading to the Euros. Have a good one, golden boy. 7.45pm KO https://twitter.com/England/status/1797683179505275164/photo/1"

"He's a box to box all action Midfielder. He's effectively a poor man's Rice but because Rice is so exceptional, that doesn't mean Gallagher ain't also decent below his level. As an England Squad back up in central Midfield he's ideal for us to be there for whatever reason say Rice gets injured/suspension. He'll make sure to keep the high energy and application up, retrieve the ball and make sure he feeds it to the likes of Bellingham and Foden to do the rest. I'd definitely take him as a valuable back up Midfield Squad player. I would have preferred Ward-Prowse to have gone instead if totally honest, because of all the dead ball specialist work and range of passing and work rate he gets through but as he's not, it's Gallagher that goes for me."

Bowen’s reaction when Kane scored said it all. He had one chalked off by VAR in a previous game. Poor git.

"Thought Bowen was decent tonight, probably should be on the plane, but probably won't be. I'm not sure about Gallagher, there's a good player in there but it just doesn't seem to know what position it is. Neither creative enough to be a number ten, nor positionally competent enough to play in a deeper role, is decent in the tackle but not big enough to be a physical threat. Runs around like a dog chasing a balloon half the time. Was good at Palace though."

"Bowen rated behind Eze and Grealish and a couple of others by the Beeb’s Mcnulty If his effort was not denied by Konza and dropped into Kanes lap, I suspect he would get the plaudits. Scoreboard fans"

"I rate Gallagher, imagine if we had him and Alvarez as a midfield duo behind Bowen, Kidus and Paqueta"

"Maddison and Grealish shouldn't be the ones to go, like you say both had poor seasons compared to others, in particular Bowen and Bowen proved again tonight he made a real impact and stood head and shoulders above them. Southgate would be a cսnt to overlook Bowen based on the season and what he's shown in an England shirt."

"Expect Gallagher will go. He is a good dogged Premier league player but not sure he is real international quality and obviously won’t play ahead of the likes of Rice and Bellingham Maddison has shown nothing this year, should be out Grealish has also been ineffective all season. Think he will go but shouldn’t Bowen should be in but will be borderline. Unlikely to play if he makes the 26. Id rather he stayed home in that case."

"I find Gallagher can be underrated at times amongst fans. He was a big reason Captaining Chelsea throughout the season, along with Palmer that turned their season around. He's dogged in midfield, decent leadership and has an eye for a goal and assist too. (And doesn't rely so much on Penalties to score his unlike Palmer either)."

Wharton…master of the 5 yard pass…looks tidy but need to see more… Disagree re Gallagher…limited ability… Bowen very good… Pickford stupid long punts… Maddison added little… Kane made a difference… Easy game but made heavy weather of it vs low rated side…

"Watched a bit of the second half Bowen playing for the team, everyone else selfishly for themselves Palmer 9 penalties for Chelsea this season? Hate to think how long our last 9 pens have taken Last time I saw Palmer interviewed I presumed he had had a lobotomy at some point They have hidden the scar well"

"Fucking hell Konsah, not only did you take the ball off Bowens feet on the attack 1st half, he also stopped a goal bound effort by Bowen going in then Kane snaps it up instead! Regardless, if Southgates been paying attention Bowens been our best player tonight in a Man of the Match performance. All his decision making and execution has been spot on and has tried all night to make things happen, only for others to generally fuck it up. And Wharton and Gallagher are quality."

Think you'll find Wharton will prove to be an England regular going forward. Biggest problem here are the full backs. No natural width making the wingers' jobs so much harder

"Palmer can milk a freebee Penalty for himself all he likes but as the Substitution suggests straight after he scored, he wasn't having a good game and Bowen stays on to continue his selfless good work tonight. Branthwaite I'd love us to have."

"On today's evidence Cole Palmer isn't looking like going, whilst the likes of Bowen should. He just fluffed up another chance after excellent run and cross by Bowen feeding him."

All the good bits of play we are having is Eze and Bowen. Cole Palmer as good as gw can be for Chelsea is stinking St James out.

"I fear gareth's love of terrence trent darby, and his overbearing cautious nature is the reason we won't be winning the euros. whether he wants to do it or not, declan should be the lone holding player so we can include two creative players ahead of him but the liverpool twat will no doubt be horse face's soucek"

"I'm not sure why anyone is surprised that we are so poor, afterall he's chucked together a scratch side that have never played together before and doesn't it show.... but what did he expect that theyd magically gel?"
