She had wrist & ankle surgery a while back Understand she had pain in both wrists due to bone spurs As said she won a couple of rounds & the draw opened up with seeds going out so she has decided to focus just on the singles & not aggravate an injury by playing more matches Utterly sensible by the Canadian / Romanian / Chinese player

Murray had his doubles farewell so no problem Not quite sure why the men’s no1 seed has been shunted to court 1 to allow two unseeded women on centre court though Playing on Sunday to make up for rain delays Could always start all courts at 11am every day instead of the later 1.30pm on the show courts
