"Not fussed about the score one iota. They are way ahead of us in preparation, we have half a team out there, and we are clearly getting used to playing in a very different fashion to the past few seasons."

0-2 I'm hoping the Hungarians are ahead of us in regards to training and fitness because their season starts sooner.
Re: Ferencvaros v West Ham
They are a few weeks ahead in training as they have a champs league qualifier coming up. It ruddy shows as well. Many passes going astray for us including a cross field effort from Mavro that went out for a throw that led to their second.

"Holy crap, that's at least twice I've counted all our outfield players in the opposition half. Extraordinary. Also the commentator said Downes is there and could come on? Then again he also said we got to the Euro semi final last season..."
Re: Ferencvaros v West Ham
Good job we got there days in advance unlike the Laverkausen friendly where we got to Germany about 4 hours before kick off last season.

"The Pikeys played this lot at theirs 20 years ago, 4 got stabbed, no idea if they are the same now."

Assuming the stream is decent this one should be an interesting watch. First chance to see what Lop will be trying to do setup and tactics wise.

"Fucking class that is, definitely led an interesting and full life that's for sure. Always remember Birmingham 83 FA Cup game riot we were on the pitch and Frank Lampard said to Swallow come on Andy get off the pitch, he said to Lampard 'Fuck off Frank, you lost your battle, we're going to win ours :-)"

"Manuel - yes I did and he can tell a good story, he has lots of them. When we were in Bucharest they had coaches laid on to take the fans to the ground but it was a dry zone. They were supposed to leave hours before the game. The British police that travel with the fans one approached Andy, ""evening Mr. Swallow what time would you like the coaches to leave? We were drinking with him. Prague too, so many bottles of vodka at just being sent to his table, didn't have to buy a drink... Ps he was definitely Moyes in"

"It's Monday 9pm here so knowing me will probably have a look anyway! just that I remember watching a few last summer and they are dire affairs and I told myself in future I'll wait for the real thing to start. I suppose having a new gaffer makes it a little more interesting. Btw, did you see the Andy Swallow podcast on YT with Terry Stone recently? A really good watch."
