"Xaka ""Against teams like this and the others who come to the BayArena, it is always difficult to find space because they sit so deep."" Alonso ""It wasn't easy. They were very deep and always had a lot of players in the penalty area,"" Alonso added."

"What I HATE about Moyes is that he sets his team up like that and they pretty much executed his plan to the letter yet he comes out and blames the players and says that they need to play better! The man is deluded. Excellent point, Ludo. The players like they usually do follow his gut punching tactics to the letter and should be praised, especially by the man who deploys these dated tactics. Instead hides behind them as yet another convenient excuse to also go with the one that Leverkusen are a Champions League team. He really is a 2bob 2nd hand car salesman in a past life, the way he bags it all the time to the media. What pisses me off is that so many buy thw bullshit what he says. It's literally never hus fault and it's as gutless as cowardly as his footballing philosophy on the pitch."

"Exactly simon.s... Marshall should be given a go from the start, see what he can do and give him some incentive to think he might be involved next season. Obv Moyes won't give a toss about that so it won't happen."

"Antonio should be nowhere near a football pitch this weekend. Realistically he's probably our best hope next week. And again, that's on Moyes."

"RM10, he wanted to go back to Italy because he was treated like a cսnt by your dream manager. He gave him the classic Moyes treatment in the media. ‚ÄúNeeds time to settle‚Äù, ‚Äúneeds to get up to speed‚Äù, ‚Äúlacking fitness‚Äù, ‚Äúhe did ok but he needs to do this and that better‚Äù blah blah blah. He scored a few good goals after getting a chance when Antonio was out and as soon as Antonio was fit he was back out of the team. He was never a Moyes player, and clearly not a Moyes signing. He has absolutely no idea how to play a centre forward. Had Scamacca joined and and enjoyed his football under a manager who trusted him, I doubt he would have been looking for such a swift exit."

"Roots get a couple out we are down to likes of Cresswell and Johnson and have nothing in the bench to change a game or even replace we hat we have on the pitch, that's on Moyes too. It's a total myth we have had nothing on our bench to change a game, either right now or in the past. It's always been by design that Moyes chooses to ignore many of his decent options on the bench. Last night we had Ings and Cornet to bring on with plenty of energy and experience to burn up top to keep Leverkusen honest and think about us going the other way for a change. But yet again he chooses to cut off his nose to spite his face and ignore them for the umpteenth time - it's a ducking pisstake. But not only that, he's also often overlooked the likes of Fornals/Benrahma when say for long periods on the bench alongside them when they were kicking their heels on the bench. I hate this myth perpetuated he's had a lack of options, it's because he chooses to manage this way and it's prehistoric football at it's best still thinking it's best to use maybe 1 or 2 subs due to injury and not to actually change a game and affect it proactively like so many other manager's do."

"Before the game, Alonso bigged us up more than our own manager. We were beaten really before a ball was kicked."

"Defensive master class my arse. No point doing it for 80 minutes then conceding twice. One fucking shot on goal.. Qarabag were 2 up there and drew 2-2... Yet again we can't be expected to go there and play.. Yet I bet most of our players cost more than Qarabag's entire first 11...Moyes has an inferiorty complex, which is justified... But our players are vastly superior to Qarabag's"

"I'm not sure he'll do anything differently, he'll now be prioritising the palace game. what I would do is being cornet or marshall (I don't give a shit what west brom did with him) on to the left, kudus right and soucek & jwp as two eights behind antonio. alvarez can handle the holding role on his own. there's also an argument to play scarles at LB if he was fit, as he's probably the best crosser of a ball at the club and would have a decent understanding with callum, and rid us of the scouse snail. of course, none of that will happen and we'll probably see phillips wide left ?üòÇ"

I have absolutely no doubt that Moyes will instruct the team to 'keep it tight' for the first 70 mins with the hope of keeping it 0-0 on the night with the plan then to 'give it a go' for 20 mins at the end.

"The truth is it’s us as fans that have tolerated Moyes and he’s negative ways for the last two years, it’s not been pointed out to him and the board that it’s brand is unacceptable. Moyes didn’t lose that game last night, he’s been building up to losing that game for two years. The only way things move in the right direction is if us as fans make it clear to those running the club and team that we care, whilst all they care about is a shit brand filling a shit stadium which in turn fills their shitty pockets."

"I'd love to know what people think Moyes will do differently. Have a look at the bench last night: Anang (GK), Knightbridge (GK), Aguerd, Ogbonna, Johnson, Casey, Earthy, Orford, Cornet, Mubama, Ings There's 7 players there that have absolutely no chance in playing any minutes. What's he going to do differently other than try to bore the other team into submission?"

Is this not now our most important game of the season ? We should act so accordingly! No more giving them respect bollocks. We could go and try and win it and who knows?! we might well be defeated or we could try and defend our two goal deficit and make defeat a nailed on certainty. Given where we are Moyes has no choice.
