"Shame it had to come to this but it wouod gave been tough for Sullivan to sack him after the euphoria of finally winning something. I suppose purchasing 4 players of decent quality with Rice money and transfer budget and the positive momentum and feeling after last seasons cup win, carried us thru to Xmas although the nature of some wins sprinkled with yeavy defeats were a warning sign that us pessimists saw. 3 wins in 2024, and back to the dismal league form when Rice was with us. Its been 2 and a bit years since we looked strong and consistent playing Moyesball. Its over for Moyes and really our last 4 games should be made available for blooding some youngsters. A few more thumpings likely though as I expect Moyes to go on a media offensive and start blaming everyone, anyone, anything but himself for being the architect of what is going to be a sorry end to what was overall a decent tenure.
