Fury v Usyk
Fury to win? Usyk to win? Draw? Called off at the last moment? Fixed? Not interested? May have to actually pay form this one as I can't be fucked arsing around with shit streams that buffer every 3 seconds. Fury inside 8 if he is 100% prepared Usyk on points if he has a good night Draw for the purpose of a rematch and more money could be a good punt You cunts?

Re: Fury v Usyk
"I am a bit unsure of why people are calling it a great fight or one of the greatest fights ever. It was a good fight, certainly not a great one. But I guess we are starved of even good fights these days, I had rounds 7-9 and 7-12 as well as round 9 covered for Usyk, so bit gutted I missed out on on a decent pay out."
Re: Fury v Usyk
"Oleksandr Usyk's undisputed world heavyweight titles are set to fragment with Britain's Daniel Dubois poised to fight for the vacant IBF belt. The Ukrainian defeated Fury to unify the WBC, WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight belts in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, but he will only reign supreme for a short spell as one of the sport's governing bodies is likely to strip away a title. Usyk is expected to face Fury again in an immediate rematch, but the IBF mandatory title challenger Filip Hrgovic has been waiting for his own title fight and the Croat's upcoming bout against Dubois could be for the vacant IBF belt on June 1."

Re: Fury v Usyk
Fury got going in the middle rounds and looked half decent but the beginning and the end looked like he was doing the truffle shuffle...

"southbankbornnbred 10:21 Mon May 20 ""Will the rematch be in Saudi again?"" I would have thought so. Fury is getting £100m for the rematch so there's no chance he'll retire. Who would turn down £100m to get beaten up?"

Tyson furys got the same issue . His namesake had throughout the 90s and 00s . Too many hangers on . And has gone too far away from what made him the fighter he once was . The first thing a fighter loses is their legs . Followed by the hangers on . I suspect it's too late now . I knew usyk would beat him . And will again in any rematch.

Re: Fury v Usyk
I called a Usyk win on points earlier on this thread. Tyson and his entourage were too loud and cocky before and during the fight. Usyk remained calm and calculated all the way and is the better boxer.

Re: Fury v Usyk
Too many yes men in Furys corner. Kept telling him he was winning pretty much every round when he wasnt. Couple of times he hit Usyk with a decent shot and he had to take a step back but rather than try and take advantage he kept his distance. I do think Fury can win a rematch.

"Only saw the fight late last night. Decent, close fight - but hard to take issue with Usyk's win. Good performance from the Ukrainian, that. Will the rematch be in Saudi again?"

I heard he 1st started following the Hammers when he used to visit the Boleyn cheering on his favourites Samassi Abou and Iain Dowie.

"Probably more to do with his friendship with Yarmolenko. Still, there's nothing to say he hasn't been converted to Hammerism, considering the blisteringly entertaining football we've been playing over the past couple of seasons?ü§î?ü§£?ü§£"

Re: Fury v Usyk
"A clear but close victory for Usyk in my eyes. He won three off the first five rounds and rounds eight to ten, crucially with a knockdown too. That is the second defeat in a row for Fury imho. If I were Usyk I’d cash in with another fight with Fury then call it a day. There’s a good bunch of super heavies waiting in the wings to entertain us. Fury has two more big pay days left, his return with Usyk and whatever that result a career closing fight with Joshua."
Re: Fury v Usyk
"When they sit down and agree terms they agreed a rematch and probably a Trilogy verbally, already agreed Usyk wins first as fits the narrative with Ukraine war, then Fury wins the return which sets up a Trilogy which will be the real fight, this way it milks the punters for every penny and three fights for bets to go on 2 with result already known."
Re: Fury v Usyk
"Steady 11:53 Sat May 18 You and me, I'll always back an English man over an outsider, traitorous not to. Boxing is fixed, not always but some fights definitely are and anyone who says otherwise is nieve with the betting money going on, same as horse racing. It's all about giving the punters what they want, with the refight already arranged a draw would have been seen as fixed. Was it all planned only those at the top know. Everyone wanted Fury to lose maybe they gave the punters what they wanted and Fury will win the return. Who knows its a circus."

Re: Fury v Usyk
"An amazing fight that will go down as a Boxing classic with both Boxers not letting us down for the entertainment in the ring. Absolutely gripping stuff from start to finish. A proper Boxing match. I thought the best man did win but he had to dig deep and go to a dark place to get it done as seemed to be struggling in the middle rounds after a good start. Tyson Fury's corner (I.e. his hobby old man) let him down by not calling it right during the fight. These are my 2 favourite Boxers and they didn't disappoint me and can't wait for the rematch already. Could even be a trilogy if Fury makes some adjustments, like fuck his Dad off from his corner overriding Sugar so much and knock the disrespectful showboating on the head as Usyk deserves better respect than that at times."

"Weird fight. Two halves .. Also a bit fairytale for Ukraine, seems convenient. Some folks called it right. Lennox saying he was worried about Fury's legs rather than. His chin. Age yelling maybe? Usyk deserved it."

"Alfs probably a bit of that and wanting to make the next one a sort of grudge, I was robbed match. Also he's probably far too proud to admit he got completely outboxed and outclassed by a smaller fighter which he likes to remind everyone constantly."

Re: Fury v Usyk
"Jaan Kenbrovin 3:33 Sun May 19 Shows how tough Fury is tbh and how much difference a ref can make Fights get stopped for MUCH less than that Personally have tried so hard to not hate Fury like the rest of the country but that stuff about the war after was ridiculous, worse than Joshua. Then again he had just been punched in the head repeatedly so...."
