Have said before that if Arsenal offered us Saka in a straight swap for Bowen OR Kudus I’d turn them down That said Saka will start & Bowen is likely to be squeezed out probably for Palmer (having heard him speak I suspect he has had a lobotomy)

"Agree 100% with cholo and billywhitehorse Surprised any West Ham fan who goes to games and sees what he puts in would rate Bowen below Saka. How many headers has Saka scored to go woth his 6 penalties? The Saka limping videos are funny, too"

"Just watched waistcoats 11 min presser, was pretty impressed how confidently and precisely he answered all questions posed, but ultimately it will all just likely come down to what happens on the night if we meet France again and not who finer detail like who gets left out of a 26 man squad."

"Jesus wept. I'm guessing twoleftfeet weren't a detective. Of course back when he was plod he could just fit someone up and plant the evidence, whereas on here everyone can see that no-one mentioned anything about Moyes at all. Must be hard to adjust to that."

"Good to see that another thread has been hijacked by a Moyes hater. Let it fucking go. And no Moyes had nothing to do with the NHS blood scandal, he also wasn't piloting the Singapore Airlines plane that someone died on and no he isn't responsible for Netanyahus arrest warrant."

Bowen is better than Saka for reasons pointed out below.about their achievements playing for teams in different parts of the league table. Also Saka has no bottle and disappears if he gets kicked. Put him in Bowen's shoes in Prague last June and I don't think he scores that goal. Add in Bowen's work rate and determination and there's no competition between them.

"A lot of great attacking options but defence looks weak. My final 26 would probably be: GK: Henderson, Pickford, Ramsdale LB: Shaw, Gomez CB: Stones, Branthwaite, Maguire, Guehi, Konsa RB: Walker, Trippier CM: Rice, Mainoo, Gallagher, Jones AM: Bellingham, Palmer LW: Foden, Grealish, Gordon CF: Kane, Watkins, Toney RW: Bowen, Saka I'd probably have Palmer ahead of Bowen at RW, but if Southgate somehow decides to go for it and puts Bellingham alongside Rice in CM, then Palmer can play as a 10."

"OTB I buy it, Bowen's 16 premier league goals from open play in a midtable team that averages 35% possession per game, is far more impressive than Saka's 10 in one of the best attacking teams in Europe, playing essentially the same role. Saka has age over Bowen but that's it. I genuinely wouldn't swap Bowen for Saka at this stage."

"cholo 7:08 Tue May 21 I don't buy that at all. People love to accuse Southgate of bias but you've only got to look at this squad to see that isn't true - four Palace players? Saka is a better player than Bowen, as much as I love him."

how many centre backs does he need? lets assume you take four full-backs: Walker/Shaw Tripper/Gomez? i wont even mention TAA. That leaves: Braithwaite Dunk Guehi Konsa Maguire Quansah Stones 7 fucking centre backs!! i'd ditch Dunk & Quansah. Then one keeper - Trafford. Then one of Bowen/Eze/Maddison.

"Stowie.40 5:09 Tue May 21 Tough to argue with your logic, however I honestly feel Bowen is a better player than Saka who I think is hugely overrated. Not many will agree - including waistcoat - but strip out penalties and Bowen comfortably outscores him in a largely average team and I just think he's a much more dynamic and less predictable player."
