Anxiety/depression

"Been through bad time lately with suffering with this. Dark thoughts as well. I know some posters on here suffer with this. Anyone come through the other side of this shit?

"A number of posters have been yellow carded and told to stay off this thread unless they have anything constructive to add. This is a thread that has been very useful to so many, for any other posters with scores to settle, argue on another thread. This thread is sacrosant.Thank you"

"hope to god Roberto never plays for us again. Look for the things that make you happy and grab hold of them for as long as you can. Even if it is for a minute or two a day. Those moments get longer and longer. Get to sleep by 11 pm no lights and wake up at a decent time and get out in daylight first thing. It seriously helps. Walk around get exercise, we were made to keep on the move about 10-12km a day, it helps your mood seriously."

I wouldnt recommend either. I was diagnosed in my 40's after having symptoms since 12/13yrs old. Been off meds for years but going back on as I've hit the titwobbles again. I recognise my symptoms and manage them but everything thats happening at the moment is a bit too much. I've been beaten this time nothing like watching your life's work go down the toilet.

"When you say ""trying for 3 years"" do you mean it took you 3 years to persuade the mrs to push something that has a fair chance of inheriting your massive head out of her chuff?"

"whu4eva Meaning / purpose I think is a common struggle and it’s easy to get too deep, just think of what you’ve achieved ( hopefully something no matter how small ) It doesn’t help if things go wrong but you have to try to accept that as normal for everyone not just you. Social media and news should be fucked off as much as possible. Over the lockdown I’ve noticed more than ever how people are trying to push their agenda, what great lives they have ( look at me doing this, isn’t my life just the best ) and particularly the hippy lefty wankers wanting everyone to sign this petition and that petition and forcing their views that we should all be doing more to save the world. They’re all more than likely struggling with the same questions"
