Anxiety/depression
"Been through bad time lately with suffering with this. Dark thoughts as well. I know some posters on here suffer with this. Anyone come through the other side of this shit?
"A number of posters have been yellow carded and told to stay off this thread unless they have anything constructive to add. This is a thread that has been very useful to so many, for any other posters with scores to settle, argue on another thread. This thread is sacrosant.Thank you"

Re: Anxiety/depression
Your always sadly going to get the keyboard warriors especially on here but considering that we're all West Ham some of the posts are really evil ! Ok people will say what do you expect going on WHO ! But I've had ... I hope you die with covid on your own with no family around you !! Are you still alive you sad old c#nt ? And so on ... But the vast majority of posters on here are really nice people so Feck those that keep you from posting. I came on this thread a while back to state that I had Cirrhosis had lost weight but had stopped drinking and I had some great Whomails and hopefully I was of help to others in similar health problems ! I'm still dry 27 months now without a drink but my weight is a concern now down to 9st 7lbs but hey-ho keep going eh. Thanks again for all those that have been there and I wish everyone on here a much happier better life.

"I check in here occasionally, prompted to watch Dan Walker talking eloquently and emotionally about Garry Speed. What I have observed thus far from this very thread, can I think be representative of how it is in the real World. There will be those who just don't get - Forgive them, ignore them. There will be those who do get it to certain extent, but go into solution mode and 'Try to solve it for you' - Again forgive them and don't shut them out, they are doing their best. The ones who get it, chunk it down to what to do NOW and realise it's not a linear curve or line its a roller coaster. - Keep them in close. To anyone else who is lucky enough not to have the black dog visit their door, try your very best to be in the last two categories. xxx"

"Pentonville is a fucking legend, what he has done in such a short space of time, for me is inspiring. I've been speaking to him a lot over the last few weeks, and to see where he is now is fucking magnificent. Pony, Who has been trolling you? I've had cunts like Swiss, and Crossed Hammers/V for Vendetta and Vexed all comment on my issues - there's just no need for it and anyone who does is an utter cսnt and not worth worrying about mate."

"I won’t post my own updates on this thread these days, sadly, due to a certain poster that trolled me on here. I wish everyone well though and would welcome who mails from genuine people want to chat. I’m back into counselling and meds right now... and so it continues..."

"Difficult time of the year for many. Speak out. Great video going round from Dan Walker, talking about Gary Speed. Great is not the word. Informative, thought provoking and sad but inspiring are better words. Tough time of the year. May I suggest the fund is there for people struggling at Xmas Much love and good luck everyone. üëç"

Re: Anxiety/depression
Anyone working with repeat prescription you can get a pre paid NHS certificate for a tenner a month NS. Its better that other drugs teenagers use. Ask her to do a review with her GP

"Northern Sold 1:23 Tue Nov 16 Shit news mate, have been through all this and it is far harder to see your kids with it and have it yourself to be honest. Talk to her, LISTEN to her, dont question anything, she will only hear the negatives from your conversations, so you do really need to focus on positives. Get her professional help, you will probably have to pay for it but it really does help."

Northern Sold 1:23 Tue Nov 16 Bad news. Can you bring her home for a reset? Shit times we're in where what worked when we were that age no longer apply. At least she'll be in familiar company back home while she gets herself back together.
