Black footballers have been harrassed by the police in the past. False flag terror operations have happened (although they are thankfully a lot more rare than conspiraloons believe). So covering such issues is not in itself ""woke"" - in the same way that covering other rare events, such as a fire on an oil rig, is woke. ""Woke"" boils down to how issues are covered or treated. Although I'm not convinced that, in the current climate, either plotline will be told with a great deal of reality or nuance! There is a lot of shit, woke television about."
