Parliament has recently been ruled sovereign, so it can pass any legislation it wants if it's correctly worded. Of course, the ruling by the Supreme Court (the law) that Parliament is sovereign was arrant nonsense. If the Supreme Court had the power to make that decision then clearly it (the law), not Parliament, is sovereign. In fact, the law has always been sovereign in modern times, but it took a moron like Cameron to create a Supreme Court and inadvertently prove it."
