Protection of men in Violence against men in the home can be added to.existing law ...why do they feel the need to.repeal.the law that already exists to.protect the thousands more women who.get attacked? Debs instead of selectively c&p you should read what was said. The gist of it being he believes it’s not gender based violence it’s family violence. The point being it’s not just women who suffer violence. No law is being repealed just a broadening of the wording to protect everyone. So my family values are okay with EVERYONE in the family being protected equally. How are your values challenged by the thought that men don’t deserve protection from domestic violence?

Side for those who are Jewish they are already protected in the Equalities Act. So saying Cockneys who get discriminated against should receive special treatment over any other group who also get the same treatment is just a bit silly. Almost Monty Pythonesque.

....they don't need to say it. The very fact that they virtually deny the existence of violence being on the whole mainly towards women shows you everything you need to know about how the issue will be treated. If anything they'll.probably ensure more funding goes into helping the few men who get beaten as opposed to the many women. Both mine and my wife’s families were amongst it too…..no they’re not but I still wouldn’t use it to have a giggle about….it’s kind of why they stood firm as did other parts of the country this should gain them some respect from you as it’s part of your background…..instead you want to get back at a poster…..

Fifth being protected from.discrimination in the law doesn't mean you don't face discrimination. You just face the challenge of having to.prove you were discriminated against. Plenty of groups with protected status face similar challenges i think.we both know that..
