"I started Colin about 6 or 7 weeks ago and still got 3 eps to go. It's fucking awful, but just about watchable. A couple of decent milfs knocking around."

Colin from accounts feels like a sitcom from about 20 years ago. Its full of tired tropes and alternative comedy pastiche. Maybe the Ausies just discovered this stuff?

"collyrob 10:38 Yup- that was a superb scene. This series has been fantastic, and it's got even better since 'the event' in ep 3 as well with the kids vs Matsson and each other. Really hope the last three eps carry it on and the conclusion doesn't disappoint."

"Alfs 12:15 Thu May 11 I know what you mean. The Silo looks like it should, but they didn't make enough of how long it takes to get from the ""down deep"" to the ""up top"" (took a full day walking - the Silo is that big). Hugh Howey (guy who wrote the books) is an executive producer, so hopefully he doesn't let them mess with it too much."

"Soylent Green 6:57 Wed May 10 I've always been disappointed when watching an adaptation of a book I've read, so I wouldn't bet on it. However, I've enjoyed the first two eps enormously."

"Anyone else watching From? It's like Lost meets The Walking Dead, albeit without zombies and multiple timelines. It's ok. Nothing great so far but has potential."

"Just finished Daisy Jones and the six, thought it was really good. It's meant to be dort of based on Fleetwood Mac but l think the real Fleetwood Mac were a lot wilder. Apparently the actress who plays Daisy Jones is Elvis's grand daughter and she is very good. I presume her character was based on Stevie Nicks."

New series on Apple TV.? Let me guess. Strong independent woman saves the world.? Tim Cook should rebrand the streaming service and rename it. The Woke Channel.

"Enjoying Succession but glad it's wrapping up, the full hour seems a slog sometimes just listening to them all bickering all the while. Maybe need some car chases, fights, sex scenes, etc :-) Thought it was funny last week when Roman was firing everyone."

Colin from Accounts. It's OK. A bit better than OK. The couple are rather sweet. It's like a bit less good Catastrophe. I'll watch S2 if there is one.

Watched the first episode of Colin From Accounts last week with no idea what was coming. Very good opening. We have a stubborn Border Terrier too so that was a bit of a headspin seeing how it played out.
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"I agree Morph it was brilliantly done. What with it being a sort of prequel for BB the destination of the character arcs, etc is arguably easier as they know the destination, its just a matter of what journey they take to get them there."
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"The whole thing just felt so well planned and written, they knew exactly the arc for each character and where they wanted it to go. So many great scenes!"
