Iron filings. McLaren wasn't the manager for very long. Adam buikt a new band from scratch after McLaren stole the rest of the band to form Bow Wow Wow after Dirk. incidently I saw Bow wow wow in 2012 and Anebella was hot

DM For me they became shite when Malcolm McLaren got involved nicked the musicians for Bow Wow Wow and reincarnated Adam & The Ants as a comedy fancy dress band

I like all of Adam Ant's albums right up to Blueback Hussar, and that does include Strip (which seems to be universally derided) and Pursuasion (which never had an official release although I do admit that side 2 of Prince Charming was a bit shit. it was rushed and it shows. I've heard bootlegs of the pre Dirk gigs and to me it was just an awful tuneless noise."
