"DiCaniosLefty I agree about Gangland. it is crap. so was Invaders and The Prisoner imo. That's why I think the album is not as great as its generally acclaimed to be. Children of the Damned is a great song. of course they covered a similar sound on Revelations on Piece of Mind, glad to hear you are impressed by Total Eclipse. Maiden did do some great b sides in the 80s. Reach Out, Kings of Twilight, Cross Eyed Mary and Rainbow's Gold were also excellent b sides."

I do think Number of the Beast is an overrated patchy album but there are some gems on it, such as Children of the Damned, Run to the Hills and antother gem is Total Eclipse which was originally the b side of Run to the Hills, but has subsequently been placed on to album when it was remastered"
