Stoat Yes you are right. It would probably have been more accurate for me to refer to Wishbone Ash as classic rock. I will give Argus another listen as I do believe it is often worth giving an album 2 or 3 spins in order to see if I can get into it.

"DiCaniosLefty 3:47 Agree fella. Trouble is, would their talent have been as great without the drugs? ""See I think drugs have done some good things for us, I really do, and if you don't believe drugs have done good things for us, do me a favour - go home tonight and take all your albums, all your tapes, and all your CD's and burn 'em, 'cause you know the musicians who made all that great music that's enhanced your lives throughout the years....rrrrrrrrrrreal fucking high on drugs."" "Fucking hell, I didn't know ANYONE who'd heard Chloe Dancer/Crown Of Thorns before posting the Singles OST on here yesterday. Good to know there appears to be a few others out there with impeccable taste gents."

"MMG - ag, ag, ag! Classic! Mike - Agree, Chloe is an amazing song. Such a fucking shame we've lost so many of those fantastic vocalists to drugs. That would have been an amazing gig. Unfortunately I didn't get to see AiC with Layne. Have done a few times now with Will and they're still a bloody good live act"

"In recognition of the Austrian cunts statement back in January; ""The fans gave me the power, they gave me the energy and that's why I have to be here and that's why I want to stay. I never wanted to run away because I hate this club, this was never my intention."" Rollins Band - Liar"

"DiCaniosLefty, the Singles soundtrack is superb. It was also my introduction to Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns, still one of my favourite songs! Would? Is my favourite AÏC song too. Agree with you about the whole emotion behind Down in a Hole. Was lucky enough to see them at the time live at Camden Underworld with Layne on vocals. Incredible gig."

"MMG, Mike and Munky - all this talk of grunge, I've just put on the Singles soundtrack. Great opener with my favourite AiC track, Would? Pity half of the album is no longer available on iTunes. AiC Unplugged is superb, particularly as it was their first gig in 2 and a half years and one of their last with LS. Nutshell and No Excuses are fantastic but Down in a Hole gets me every time given LS's history and future."

"Mike and munkyfunk Nutshell is one of my favourite songs of all fucking time, and you just reminded me to play it by talking AIC. Thank you. Prefer the studio version to unplugged, but both are sublime."

"only1billybonds It was pleasant enough, but sorry to say, not really my cup of tea. But that is probably more down to me tending to prefer contemporary prog rather than classic prog. But I will give it another go."

"Seem to be in a bit of a grunge mood today. Singles - OST. Great soundtrack album, with the likes of Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, Screaming Trees, and a fucking great song by Chris Cornell. Oh, and Chloe Dancer/Crown Of Thorns by Mother Love Bone. One from my top ten."

"Monky funk, you didn't? Fair enough. It was brilliant for me, and I thought their Unplugged was the best of the lot. Pearl Jam, The Cure after that. Nirvana was a great one, but not up to the others in my opinion."
