"Yngwies cat Im sorry to say I have come to consider Number of the Beast a very overrated album. It is extremely patchy. Run to the Hills, Children of the Damned and Hallowed be thy Name are great tracks, but tracks like Invaders and Gangland are quite dull. Plus inexplicably one of the best tracks recorded for the album imo, ie Total Eclipse was left off the album and relegated to a b side."

"The Number off the Beast - Iron Maiden... Well bugger me, I had forgotten what a glorious slab of Metal that album is. Stuffed full of Satan, Sacrifice, The Damned, and all other ingredients of fire and Brimstone! Up there with best of the 'Irons' albums. Fantastic way at set up for a jolly peaceful day;"
