"zebthecat 1:31 Fri May 29 I was watching an episode of Westworld last week and the piano in the saloon was playing a song that I knew but couldn't quite recognise. After rewinding a few times it turned out to be Black Hole Sun, what a belter of a choon."

"weststandboy Afraid of Sunlight is my favourite Marillion album. I think it is just perfect from start to finish. It shows the band have a sense of humour (Cannibal Surf Babe), has an incredible climax (Out of This World) has a great reflective penultimate track (Beyond You) and of course goes out with a bang. (King)"

"Yes, listened to some of Edisons Children. Very good long songs too. Must be strange having the son of the first man on the moon in your band! I must admit my favourite album is happiness is the road. Cram packed full of massive tunes!"
Re: What if anything are you listening to now?
weststandnoy I agree with you about Hogarth. He is a good front man. Although the more recent albums have been a bit patchy. Marbles was the last really great album imo. Although there have been some great tracks since eg Whatever is Wrong With You and Gaza. Have you heard this excellent track from Pete Trewavas's side project Edison's Children? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwWphivqhK4 and this new track by Fish is brilliant as well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MGDh6qh-0k

Dm - No piss taking mate. Saw Marillion at the Cliffs just recently. Hogarth is an even better front man than Fish in my opinion.

"weststandboy: I have to assume you are being sincere and not actually taking the piss. in which case, thank you. I got criticised on this thread for mentioning Script For a Jester's Tear five times. (can I help it if SFOJT is such an excellent album?)"
