"MMG I saw Ashcroft a couple of years ago,was gutted he didn't do 'You on my mind'. Good mate of mine committed suicide a few years back,I put my copy of that album in his coffin. Martin. John Martyn eh, what a talent. Landslide. The Smashing Pumpkins."

"dm 7:37 Thu Apr 22 Indeed sir. I'm quite a fan of the album myself and it's up there with 'Rising' 'Kill the King' is a beast and probably the heaviest thing they did. . 'Rainbow Eyes' is beautiful, Ronnie's singing and the haunting flute .. wow! 'Lady of the Lake' is fantastic. Horses for courses of courses, but yes 'Gates' is the nuts. I was lucky enough to catch Ronnie at the old astoria in Charing x road , on the the Holy Diver night. They played it, ok it wasn't Blackmore, but just hearing Ronnie singing it was amazing. I'm somewhere on the dvd headbanging :-)!"
