"Stoat When I saw them at The Boat Race, Cambridge in 2002, , there was a chap at the front next to me taking loads of photos. It was noticeable back then as he had a film or digital camera and Smart Phones weren't really around then. And I did notice that he seemed to be concentrating on photographing Heather and Angela much more than the rest of the band. dirty old sod. I do miss that venue. it usually had about four real Ales on and I saw Marillion and The Enid there as well over the years."

"She is a nice person. When I saw MA at The much missed Boat Race at Cambridge back in 2002, after the gig, I was 'liberating' the poster advertising the gig on the wall, and I got in her way. She said ""nice t-shirt"" (I was wearing a Blackmore's Night t shirt) so I asked her if she would autograph the poster I was liberating. but she didn't have a pen. while most members of a rock band probably wouldn't give a monkeys, she went to the merchandise stall and came back out to autograph the poster for me. In 2003 I mentioned on the MA yahoo group that I missed the York gig due to a double tyre blow out on the A1. I had no idea that any of the band looked at the group, but she made a point of contacting me after that."

"Debs I love Zepplin, Floyd, Purple, Ramones, Jam etc. Could go on forever. Loved them in their day and occasionally revisit. However I like to explore new experiences and don't have my head in the sand like the majority of the old farts on here."

"dm 12:06 Tue Apr 27 It was EMI who tried to stop it, got a few coppers there just in case of trouble, but a compromise was reached. Pretty sure Bryan and the gang were happy to do it"

Re: What if anything are you listening to now?
"Stoat TBH I do wonder how much MA really wanted to do it themselves. They were on that small label at the time, Classic Rock Productions, who seemed determined to push MA as being 'the new Pink Floyd'"
