"azel senior 1:23 Wed Dec 15 Absolutely. I went to see Genesis recently, and while there is massively divided opinion out there on whether PC is up to it, I did realise that I don't think I have EVER seen anyone as frail as him onstage in ANY kind of professional performance before, including some quite elderly actors. Still, knowing when to hang it up must be very difficult when you still feel that you're able to do it."

"Agree. Sad that all these great, classic bands are coming to the end, but better that than diluted versions."
Re: What if anything are you listening to now?
azel senior 12:54 Wed Dec 15 I think the happiest I have ever been at a gig is during the R30 overture at Wembley after all those years when I never thought I'd see them again. I'm actually OK with them shutting it down now. Would be sad if there was some sort of 2/3rds version out there eroding the memories.

"Bungo, Lucky man!! all my mates were into Rush way back around the time of 2112 & Hemispheres. I only got into them a few years back. When I think of all the opportunities I've missed.........."

azel senior 10:26 Wed Dec 15 The first time I saw Rush was at Hammersmith on the Permanent Waves tour. Just look at the setlist... üëÄ https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/rush/1980/hammersmith-odeon-london-england-7bd97af8.html

The Stoat 7:44 Sat Dec 11 I always think the re-working of Here Comes The Flood on Sixteen Golden Greats is the best re-working of a song ever. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AO0CrlYZlQw&ab_channel=PeterGabriel-Topic
Re: What if anything are you listening to now?
"Far Cough, Stoat I also have Peter Gabriel 1 on CD, but I do think it is a very patchy album. I do agree about Moribund the Burgermeister being an excellent track though. TBH I'm not that keen on PG's solo albums, although I do think Peter Gabriel 3 and Ovo are both excellent albums."
