MaryMillingtonsGhost 2:13 Tue Apr 12 Saw him with the missus and daughter last week at Wembley... still on a massive high some 9 days later... bloke for me is the best singer songwriter since Weller in his pomp with the jam... this generation needs a spokesman and he's up there at the mo... looking to get to Finsbury Pk and later on at Portsmouth... absolute joy having him around at the moment.

"A quick thank you to NS. Never listen to the radio so have never really heard of him, but Sam Fender is absolute quality. Both albums are solid 9/10. Aye, Seventeen Going Under, Last To Make It Home and The Dying Light are absolutely quality choons. Thank you, it's what this thread is all about."

blueeyedhm Salty Dog - agree with you - an underappreciated classic. So atmospheric - particularly the title track - and a fitting memorial to Gary Brooker - what a voice !
