"White Pony 12:31 Thu Apr 21 The most Scottish sounding vocalist for me (aside from the Proclaimers of course) is the fella out of Glasvegas. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I saw Glasvegas support U2 at a stadium show once. I can honestly say, I've never seen a band look more terrified on stage than they did that day."

"dm Weirdly Madeleine Crumbles is the only song on the album that doesn't do anything for me - the rest of it is superb and very clever with all the callbacks scattered over it. Baseball is my fave but I am a bit of a sucker for the kitchen sink school of production. Hell! Lets bung some clapping, stamping, a choir and baritone sax on the end of the song for the Hell of it."

"Zebthecat You're right, Blackbox is an excellent album. I reckon that had Major Parkinson been around in the 80s, they could have had a couple of top 30 hits off Blackbox. Both the title track and Madeleine Crumbles."
