"Still got Tool rolling around inside my head. They were very, very good last night. I've seen countless bands and they were right up there with the very tightest. Huge dynamics too which is quite refreshing. Worst thing was they spent the first 4 songs or so playing behind what could best be described as a huge net curtain with projections on it. When that rolled back, it definitely lifted the atmosphere. 9/10. Would go again."

"MaryMillingtonsGhost 11:07 Mon May 2 Yeah, that was The Grudge. As for Pneuma - that is way more complicated. Have some Danny Carey drumcam - the guy is a genius. The bit where he is playing on the toms and changes the up polyrhythm slowly is amazing. Dopesmoker is the name of the album - Just the one track coming in at a tad over an hour. Their record label was horrified."

MaryMillingtonsGhost 10:48 Mon May 2 I'm going to see Tool in B'rum tomorrow as I will be away when they're in London. Never seen them before. Just realised that it's a long time (10years+?) since I've seen a band for the first time! Still working on trying to count Pneuma. It's messing with my head...
