A veritable orchestrated symphony of birds singing in the wind and the trees outside.

"Bungo 2:45 Thu May 19 Cheers, will check out more of his stuff."

"I saw them play The Bath festival, Shepton Mallet 1970. It was in the middle of the night, we were right at the front and it was pissing down so, to avoid being electrocuted, they played an acoustic set. The rain stopped as a bright red sun rose. The Byrds stood around one mic and sang a cappella. Amazing."

"MaryMillingtonsGhost 3:10 Thu May 19 It was all seated for Tool, so hopefully it will be in future too (however many years that may be!) I've been in most areas of the O2 and sound has been fine, largely depending on the act/PA. The only area I wouldn't do again personally is the upper tier (even front row), mostly because you feel as if you're sat on the roof, looking down on whatever is going on miles beneath you. The Indigo is great. Wide and shallow with a huge bar at the back."

Re: What if anything are you listening to now?
"Bungo 8:25 Thu May 19 Agree with vocals seeming far too low. They were also very low for the support act (Brass Against). First time I'd been to the O2 so don't really have a comparisson. There's a wall not far behind where you sit on The Deck and it's possibly this that affects the SQ- reverb, destortion and shit. Definately down at floor level next time (as long as it's seated)."

"colinos 2:21 Thu May 19 Nice. When I read that Whitesnake had brought Jelusick in, I suspected he might be playing a 'supporting' role to DC. Brilliant singer BTW. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nm-XyaNP4nc"
Re: What if anything are you listening to now?
"Bungo 7:18 Wed May 18 Gig was great, but Whitesnake were probably the worst of the 3 - Coverdale was definitely being double tracked on a lot of his vocal and sadly can't hit the high notes. Shame they are retiring but I can see why. Foreigner and Europe were both superb."

"SurfaceAgentX2Zero 7:15 Wed May 18 Re: What if anything are you listening to now? Musical relevance here too. Lots of old Hollies stuff on YouTube. Boy could they play and sing. Nash is a bit of a wanker, though. Agreed, their harmonies with Nash, Hicks and Clarke were up there with anything the Beatles did. Also how underrated were Tony Hicks and Bobby Elliot. Truly a great great band. Yeah was a tosser still he had David Crosby a tosser in equal measure as him."
