"Rub a Dub Style Peter Hunningale A beautiful slice of Lovers Rock I heard it in an outdoor Cardiff dockside bar after the first one day international against New Zeeland with balmy weather and locals living it up. It reminded me of 80s London. I couldn't remember the title, Shazamed it and stopped by to listen to some more lovers rock. Meanwhile a whole stream of ravers passed by after a night of Happy Hardcore over the bay."

Icehouse were big in the 80s. Australia had a big scene then. Many good bands. Most aren't really known in the UK.

"Coincidentally I was listening to Adam and the Ants recently too. Wasn't a fan in the day, but I got listening to someone's 1981 playlist. Another song I found was one which was big in Australia and nowhere else, despite being a British band formed by former members of Dexy's Midnight Runners. Band was The Bureau, song was Only for Sheep. I'm sure there's a joke to be had.."

"DM, Bungo. Very strange.. Its a sign. Classic song lads, I could probably knock out the riff, but would tie me hands in knots with the solo ."

"yngwies Cat 4:10 Sat Sep 23 That's weird. I was changing the strings on a guitar earlier today, and after tuning up, I found myself playing/trying to remember how to play the riff to Rock Bottom. Probably haven't played it for 20+ years? Spooky!"
