"Mike Oxsaw 2:53 Wed Oct 11 'a good, well-produced American pub-rock band at best' I'm fairly sure they were a bunch of beery (mostly) Geordies"

"Some cսnt with an axel grinder right outside the house. Not the Tool, I normally like to listen to."
Re: What if anything are you listening to now?
"MaryMillingtonsGhost 2:59 Wed Oct 11 Just read that Tool are planning to return to the studio after their US dates in 2024 so if true, the chances of another European leg then would seem even less likely."

"MaryMillingtonsGhost 2:59 Wed Oct 11 Bungo 11:22 Don't suppose you know if Tool are touring over here again in the UK next year do you fella? -------------------------------------------------------------- I would be quite surprised if they come over here again so soon. I'm assuming that they won't so I'm going to see them in Toronto in November. Having booked and paid for this trip, I can only assume that the chances of them coming to the UK again soon are now much higher.ü§∑""ç‚ôÇÔ∏è"

Re: What if anything are you listening to now?
"Drowning in the Sea of Love - SNAFU. I loved this band when I first heard them, and still love them now; they are the antithesis of all the music I was listening to back in the early 70s - a good, well-produced American pub-rock band at best - but every track on the 2 albums, and I think they only did 2 albums, I like."

Re: What if anything are you listening to now?
"dm 7:59 Sun Oct 8 I just don't get what he's aiming for with this. Maybe it needs to ""òclick' or something but to me he's taken out all the great instrumentation, all the peaks and troughs and turned it into one long dirge. I'm surprised that he can't seem to leave this stuff alone after 40/50 odd years. After all this time, I'd have thought he'd have wanted to move on. If Peter Gabriel came out with Selling England By The Pound redux, I think most would regard it as a bit sad?"
Re: What if anything are you listening to now?
"Bingo It was certainly interesting as I do like Roger Waters' more self indulgent material, especially The Final Cut and Amused to Death. But by the time I got to tracks such as Any Colour You Like and Brain Damage, I just wanted to hear the original album. What do you make of it?"
