Guy Garvey is a brilliant songwriter and appears to be a lovely man too. A rare thing in the music business. His songs make me happy and want to cry simultaneaously at their best.

"Takashi Miike 12:22 Think I had that on a long-lost recording from a TV broadcast. Also a decent DVD with Leaders Of The Free World. Great Expectations is an exceptional track, imo."

Takashi Miike 6:22 Great song. Hard to think of a group whose first 4-5 albums were as consistently good as Elbows. Porcupine Tree - Deadwing
