Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
"So far this season Moyes has blamed; senior players who insists on picking, new and young players who he won't pick, Benny, Flynn DOWNES and Scamacca especially and the fans. It's time for him to go."

Re: Moyes Out
"I've defended ('scuse the pun!) Moyes regularly throughout his second tenure - but in recent weeks I just feel like he's descending into that phase we all recognise as being the dying days of a managerial regime. Under pressure - having been found out by savvy Premier League opponents - he's started to criticise senior players now, because he needs them to perform better and is under pressure from fans, media and others alike. Ordinarily, managers keep that criticism private - keep it on the training ground and in the dressing room - because when you're safe in tenure you need to keep the players on side. Criticising your senior personnel publicly is often one of the last throws of the dice. It can sometimes work - it can sometimes be the death knell..."

Re: Moyes Out
Last team in the country to score a goal this season. Only 3 goals scored in 7 games. Only won something like 4 in26 games. Spent £180m. 18th in the league. Missed out an entire transfer window meaning losing out on top European sports. If that's not a CV for getting sacked I don't know what is

Re: Moyes Out
"He's been criticising players since the end of last season when we capitulated at Brighton, but has continued to pick the same players week week out and play the same boring ineffective tactics getting the same poor performances and results. His time is up."

Re: Moyes Out
Why are people talking about budgets ? Moyes has spent £180m this summer. Money's not the problem . We are 18th in the running statistics so far this season which explains why were so utterly shite .

Re: Moyes Out
"I'd still stick with him, feels like we're the closest we've been to winning a trophy than we've been in my lifetime (other than Pards FA Cup run). There are a lot of questions that are unaddressed though. Firstly - who is making the signings? Is he in partnership with Newman or is he being given players based on what Newman & stat men are suggesting? If he is being given international talent on the cusp of being world class, and he doesn't know how to use them, then he will go eventually. If he is choosing the players himself and has a plan in place, then he will stay on for the season as long as we aren't cut adrift. For me personally, as I said at the beginning of the post - I'd stick with Moyes, at least until the World Cup break. At the moment it is too reactionary to sack him after a handful of games following the last two years of success. However, if the new owners have sounded out a manager of the calibre of Pochetino, Tuchel or even Rodgers, then I would most certainly go for it. Alternatively, if Sulilvan is still in charge of recruitment, then the best we can hope for is Sean Dyche or Rafa Benitez, with the likelihood being Mark Warburton until the end of the season."
Re: Moyes Out
I would take Poch as he did alright at Soton on a budget and doesn't necessarily need money to throw at building a squad as some managers do. I would certainly take Frank especially if he brought Brentfords recruitment/scouting team with him

"Frank woukd atleast look at the job he is on 1.5m a year moyes is on 5 bar""¶ I think it would be fair to say we are a step up"
Re: Moyes Out
Rodger or Frank or frankly anyone. This manager has been found out doesn't know how to coach the next thing to do.

Re: Moyes Out
"Claims he only wants to sign players who will improve the team and then leaves 150m on the bench. No goals in the first half all season & only 3:all season. That's all down to Moyes's tactics and coaching, even Antonio' admitted it on his podcast."
Re: Moyes Out
"I understand our 'distance run' stats are near the bottom so it seems our position in the league is fully justified. Moyes doesn't mention that, just blames the players after every game. If we wait until the end of the year,it could be too late. What a shambles."

Re: Moyes Out
7 games in 1 win and we have yet to see two strikers on the pitch apart from maybe 20 minutes. Cresswell and Soufal are dreadful going forward. I am sure they said we are 19th in running and sprints so far this season which is shocking. Beni has started great this year but once again Moyes does not pick him.
Re: Moyes Out
"He has reverted to type, he has had a good couple of seasons but in my opinion I think he got lucky with Covid breaking the season up and then no fans in the stadium really gave him and the team the chance to build winning momentum. Bringing Lingard in at that time turned out to be a masterstroke but last summer and January's transfer dealings have been his undoing. If GSB are still calling the shots then I expect him to be given till Xmas but if its the Czech guy then who knows. Over to you Dave"
