"Richie Wellens likes a big drink. Well... used to. I've been on the piss with him a few times when he was playing for BLACKPOOL. IF Pochettino is thinking about joining Nice, then I reckon we'd have a chance."

"Not overly convinced with pochettino if I'm honest. He's a bit of a loser. Took over psg with 21 games left and only one point behind and failed to win the league. Got knocked out in the first knockout round of the champions league last year and managed to get a grand total of 6 league goals out of Lionel Messi. There's a very good reason he got canned there, and his last 24 games at spurs he got 25 points and failed to win away for almost a year."

"No way on earth would Pochettino, an elite level manager, countenance managing a mid table Premier League club like West Ham which is currently languishing in the relegation zone. Dream on. Richie Wellens, however, is definitely attainable and we would be mad not to recruit him to replace Moyes. He is working wonders at Orient this season."

"The problem with the Grant appointment is that they were too loyal to him and should have got rid of him much earlier. Allardyce did exactly what was needed at the time, get us out of the Championship at the first time of asking and establish us in the Premiership which he did. Admittedly the football was dire so to appease the fans they got Bilic who was successful to start with (who can forget that last game under the lights at Upton Park) but the move made it difficult for him. Then they tried Pelligrini, vastly experienced, Premiership winner, gave him a shed load of money, first season ok, second season lost the plot so they got rid. Appointed Moyes twice who saved us from relegation twice, two top seven finishes and a Europa Cuo semi final!"

'Probably shows his limitation as a manager but I don't trust the board to find a better alternative'' What better than losing every week? Ted 'fucking' Lasso could get more out of this squad than Moyes right now. Just a pointless and immature dig at the board. Grow up.

Moyes has lost it after Pearce and Irvine departed. Probably shows his limitation as a manager but I don't trust the board to find a better alternative.

"I think things have changed in the last twelve months. It's no longer just the dwarves and that twat off the apprentice. It's now has the czech (didn't be also bring in another colleague/contact) and also one of trip smith's pals from jp morgan. If Moyes doesn't get them playing after the break, they won't delay a decision"

"Willtell - I agree with what you're saying, but we are just not at the level where we are just going to start behaving like a Chelsea, and we probably never will be, unless a sugar daddy rocks up, and even that takes time, look at Newcastle."

The thing about the board statement that Moyes job is secure is that it shows that their ambitions are survival in PL. The difference between us and Chelsea are chalk and cheese because we have time to wait to see if moyes can get it right while Chelsea need to be CL positions...

"It's been well documented that Moyes was the one who was driving all that. That's from the horse's mouth. Let's not forget, this man was building his whole side around Lingard for 18 months. Look at that cսnt now."

I dunno ED. The January window was absurd. Absolutely fuck all happened unitl the last 2-3 days then all of a sudden news comes out of us bidding for the two best players of a relegation threatened team - one of them injured - and a player widely regarded as one of the best in europe who was still playing in the champions league. Even though we were punching high those kind of deals were never going to happen so why pursue them? f most of the fans could see they were stupid why couldn't moyes? Add all the multi million pound players that have come through the door over the last 2 years who struggle to get into the first team. It's crazy

"""For me it smacks of the dwarves sticking their noses in"" Surely you've got to be one of the last men standing still trying to blame our owners for this mess? I don't think anyone particularly likes them, but for fucks sake, a blind man can see this is down to the manager. Horrendous planning from summer last year all the way through to this summer, poor man management, poor use of players, poor tactics. This is all Moyes."

"On the one hand he deserves time to get the new players settled and firing. However, after spending over 100 million and not playing those players in favour of sticking with the old guard who are not getting results that's a potential sackable offence in itself. He has got nothing to lose really by throwing the new lot in."

"I can see the predicament of the owners, they will feel Moyes deserves the chance to turn it around, and he probably does, plus it's a big 'hassle' getting in a new manager and starting again, with no guarantees of anything, and they wouldn't have seen this situation coming. BUT, we have all seen this movie before, once the writing is on the wall then it rarely gets reversed. Moyes has lost it and it's been shit for 8 months or so now. Even if he wanted to change, I don't think he can. We have outgrown him now, and he needs to go."

"There's too many anomalies over the last two transfer windows. We've gone from a situation where we'd stripped out a load of high earning freeloaders, were flying high in the league and europe with a squad virtually running on fumes and our players pretty much begging for reinforcements . We signed no one, and then break all kinds of transfer market records related to us. Yet Moyes is reluctant to play the new lads, except for one. He's speaking like he wants to go but also wants his contract paying up. Given he was saying how he'd gone and reflected on his methods and the players responded so well when he came back, it just doesn't make sense how the wheels seem to be falling off so easily. They're not putting in the yards anymore and we sit back like a team looking to fight to stay in the division. For me it smacks of the dwarves sticking their noses in once again and looking to get some of the glory."
