Re: Moyes Out
Why does anyone day dream about the top managers being remotely interested in a job at West Ham It's ridiculous seeing these names bandied about
Re: Moyes Out
Eerie 6:59 Bang on sir. He get half a season free hit with the fanbase. A good spin in Europe. And maybe a little cas in the winter transfer window.? I doubt very much any other team across the continent can offer that.!

Re: Moyes Out
Europe is our biggest downfall at the moment. It's papering over the cracks that we've seen since mid to late last season.

Re: Moyes Out
He's going to tarnish himself of he stays on too long. Something isn't right. His unwillingness to change tactics and his substitutions are and have always been questionable. Team lacked fight and energy today you'd have thought that was the team that played Thursday night in Romania the way they strolled around. Moyes out.

"Why waste the home game against Keicester with Dismal setting up not to lose yet again. Leeds, Villa, Leicester, Palace, Brentford all above us and we sit 2 points off relegation. Sack him now"

Re: Moyes Out
"Our manager is one of the most experienced of the also-rans but has never really won anything or had any other style of play than defend very deep and hit on the counter attack. He has never played football on the front foot because he has never shown any inclination or ability to do so. He did well at Preston and got a historic club back up into the Championship via the play offs after years in the bottom two divisions. He turned Everton around playing the same football in the 10 seasons he was there but again he never did anything else and by the end the Goodison faithful were bored shitless with his lack of flexibility. Man U? Nuff said. Far too big for him. Arrogant enough to think he could follow Sir Alex. Real Sociedad - He saved them from a sticky season by doing the same old, same old when he arrived. He was lucky to find a club flush with money in his second season - not fortunes but enough to put a damn good team on the pitch. They spent well on creative players but he couldn't make the transition from staying up to being more expansive. Since, they have gone from strength to strength. Sunderland - A car crash of a club - so not of his own making but was arrogant enough to think he could rescue a complete write-off. See Man U. He helped us out twice...first spell, dug in and got us out of it...by the skin of our teeth. Second spell started well and last season was great until the players got knackered but again he only has Plan A. He doesn't know how to do Plan B, C or D. It's not in his skill set. Thanks Dave, but it's not much fun anymore. That has been your main weakness everywhere you've been."

Re: Moyes Out
I'm not sure if they're giving him the Leicester game or not but they ought to act sooner than later. We need someone to come in and have a look at the players and the club to and support them in the January window to address some of the gaps. We can't wait until January.
Re: Moyes Out
"Been saying we've gone for 12 months now, and calling amoyes done since mid Jan last year. I would thank Moyes for all he's done, but his shelf life has now expired. He can't get the best out of this squad, can't engender a more positive style of play, and our best players will become disaffected if they're not already. For those that say ""who replaces him?"" I'd take Viera in a heart beat. Brighton have shown there are managers around. We have a bigger budget than about 85% of European football. We can pretty much hand pick most managers in Europe. Our squad is strong, our budget is not insignificant, our stadium and support are immense, and we're in London. I suspect with 60 mins of research I could come up with about 20 managers Id take over Moyes."

Re: Moyes Out
"Even though I could see this coming, I've not called for his head as yet. But I'm finally done now, 12 goals scored in 14 games goes past it being luck or finding excuses. Moyes out."
Re: Moyes Out
"I have defended him in person and on here but nothing has improved. As much as I loved the past two league seasons and the European adventures, the fact is it is it is a results business and we are not getting them. A bad result next week and I think he is in serious trouble. I think the slatings he is getting are a tad harsh and think/hope history will judge him kindly, but every manager has their shelf life. Especially these days. This is a massive decision for the board, firstly if they do get rid but then secondly, if they do, who is going to come that will get us back to the form of recent seasons and make progress from there?"
Re: Moyes Out
"OK. That's it. I'm done with moyes. Didn't want him back but admitted I wwe wrong. And it was a good run. BUT We've been crap, utter crap since December last year. And it is entirely his fault. He didnt buy and ran the team into the ground Now, He refuses to change the team or tactics and everyone (EVERYONE) knows how tobplay us now. Big teams away are a given now because he won't have a go at them, players completely out of form being flogged to death. His loyalty to certain players is costing us big-time when playing them is doing them no favours. Why on earth can't they pass the fucking ball? Antonio is a joke of a player now, he's completely fallen apart. Creswell is diabolical, soucek is a spent force now and has been for a while, but he won't replace him with the much better downes. And when he did play downes he put him as a no 10 I've had enough and this team, unless something changes, is heading for a relegation battle. Seeing as he won't charge the team or tactics, I now advocate a change of manager."
Re: Moyes Out
"Those of you that were unfortunately fooled by the 13 mins of play against man United, they lost today to a direct rival. Just like Liverpool - who lost 2 matches against poor opposition directly after our games."
Re: Moyes Out
Before today would have said it would take some diabolical performances to not allow him the right to see through the season and his European run. But today was as bad as the 4-0 at Bolton which got Pardew sacked - just Palace were also shit.

Re: Moyes Out
First time over there this season and it's even worse watching it live. Fuck knows why he took benrahma off. We were given the run around most of the game. Absolute shit. Need to see if pochetino or tuchel want it and if so pull the trigger tonight. He's done well for us but he's not the man to take us further.

Re: Moyes Out
I said months ago being in this mickey mouse european league will keep Moyes in a job. Once he took Benhrama off you'd have given him a Dementia test. Sullivan you midget cսnt pull the trigger
Re: Moyes Out
"Thanks for a decent turnaround David, but your dinosaur tactics and inability to utilise flair players it's time to call it a day. We're getting worse every game. Today was really shit. We were getting given the runaround all game and Moyes can't change it. Our form over the last 25 games is pathetic. Any side with ambition would move on now. We won't"

Re: Moyes Out
"Every game we sit deep we don't press and give the other team control, teams are just to good to allow them to have unchallenged possession. If we get it back we dither around getting our shape back which allows the opposition to get their shape back and set in 2 banks of 4. Moyes realises this about the 65th minute and then starts to press and suddenly we look a different team. So Moyes change your tactics or fuck off."
