Re: Moyes Out
There is absolutely no way they will sack him unless they actually believe we could go down. Anybody thinking we are one defeat away from him going is delusional
Re: Moyes Out
Bielsa no longer an option. We need to act fast here. Sack Moyes and get Poch / Tuchel or Thomas Frank please

Re: Moyes Out
"The old ""careful what you wish for chestnut"" I remember many years ago compiling a list of football clichés with a couple of pals and we would listen to the commentary on Radio 5 Live or whatever and place bets with each other (usually for beer or whiskey at exactly what point the first one would be depending on the topic. Nothing's changed - and it works for everything not just sport. When pissed it's quite a hoot"

Re: Moyes Out
"The ""be careful what you wish for""ù brigade will always be hanging around us when we aren't in relegation battles. But we're surely beyond that now aren't we? Otherwise what exactly was the point in moving? If we can replace Moyes with Poch or Tuchel then we have to do it. If we would replace Moyes with Dyche I'd be unsure. I'd maybe twist but would depend on what Dyche envisages. If we would replace Moyes with an unknown Eastern European / ex Czech manager then I'd keep Moyes. If we would replace Moyes with an attack minded coach I've never heard of (Brighton), I'd still possibly stick with Moyes for now. The likelihood of it all is that we would end up with Rafa Benitez, and again I would stick with Moyes over him. The fact gold and Sullivan are either about to die, sell or both also complicates matters massively. In reality, deep down we all know what is coming. Moyes will stay till end of season. We'll come around 14th. We'll go very deep in the conference league. The Czech bloke will take over the club. Rice will go for around ¬£90m plus a player. If we get to the final Moyes stays, if we got our earlier Moyes goes. New manager gets the Rice money plus ¬£50m more. If Moyes stays he only gets the Rice money and 2 months to show he can improve."

Re: Moyes Out
"David Moyes is becoming a little bit Joe Bidenesque and the ""be careful what you wish for""ù media are fully onside just like the Allardyce days, Losing by less than you were expected to lose by is a win. The logic of losers."
Re: Moyes Out
"It's like when Pellegrini persisted with Roberto in goal when Doris the tea lady would have saved more goals. At the end Pellegrini was setting up and playing for the sack. Moyes looks like he is adopting that position. So he can come out if this high, mighty and considerably richer. Already got one eye on an Everton return."

Re: Moyes Out
"This is the biggest problem, he is completely and utterly ignoring the truth of what is going on. And I think he truly believes what he says. Just as big a problem is what the incoming Director of Football has said, apparently we were expecting this to happen after the summer. Talk about the height of low expectations ffs"
Re: Moyes Out
"He also said: ""There has been lots of good stuff this season and stuff that hasn't been too good. I don't think I would be wrong in putting an ""òunlucky' tag on our season so far in some moments, but we must do better going forward"" Delusional too. There has not been lots of good things. We have been lucky in most games we have won. IMO"
