Re: Moyes Out
"Three home defeats in six days in front of 60000 people, not sure how anyone can defend that now, including Moyes himself. When an away side come and pick up a comfortable 0-2 win without even playing that well that's the time for a change, seen it all too many times before and it's all very fucking predictable. The rot has firmly set in and almost certainly irreversible. In the name of God, Moyes - just fuckIng GO!!"
Re: Moyes Out
They didn't bother sacking Uncle Avram till we were down. But money talks this season for those pair of lying shyster cunts. That said I'm not sure a few league position in 2023 will put off a long term buyer. They won't want to pay Moyes off as I expect they gave him a new deal after last season's eventual failure. So Sullivan will be tight as especially as he's paid the cսnt off before. So we'll either hopefully cling on as the teams below us look shitter or weak in squad but it might be tight for get much past 16th the way we've been playing.

Re: Moyes Out
If you think GSB won't pull the trigger in a nano second if they think they are going too lose a bean on any deal selling the club. You obviously haven't been paying attention. And certainly not this close to the mountain of money in play.

"onsideman 12:19 Sun Nov 13 Incidentally, Pellegrini is currently 6th (joint 4th on points) with Betis in La Liga, having qualified for the knockouts of the EL after being unbeaten in the group stage."

Re: Moyes Out
"If you ask me the rot set in when we lost at Arsenal last season , around a year ago. Think we were 4th or 5th and they were one place behind. A pivotal game. If they won they went above us, if we won we were genuine contenders. We didn't show up, which was unusual for us at the time, and since then both teams fortunes have gone in opposite directions."

"they won't get the money they want next year if we're threatened with the drop, that's why he'll go"
Re: Moyes Out
If he doesn't go we're going down. What was the point of spending all that money in the summer to let the hopeless Moyes take them down.

Re: Moyes Out
"Sydney_Iron 10:06 Sat Nov 12 Re: Moyes Out Does anyone really think we are going to get rid of Moyes? Nope. They can sell up in march without having to pay off the London Olympic mob, why would they want to pay off a manager before earning their crust ? Also Moyes saved them a load of money last January when he never spent a penny. He done them a favour. We won't attract Tuchel or Pochettino so I'm not sure why their names are being mentioned. I'd take Pochettino all day long but why would a manager of his calibre come into a relegation scrap ? What other options are available? Are they better than Moyes ? I'd love us to be able to find the next Graham Potter or the Thomas Frank but let's face it our scouting system for player recruitment is fucking woeful so what chance have we got."
Re: Moyes Out
He has 2 points less than Pellegrini had at the same point in the season in which he was sacked. I think Pellegrini got 3 more points in the next 4 games so Moyes needs 5 points from 4 games to equal the record at the halfway point that was bad enough to earn the scarecrow his cards

"you can tell he's absolutely desperate to get to that run of ""winnable"" fixtures in january that he can scrape a few ugly points from and cling on for the rest of the season based on it."

"Just seen his post match comments. I don't get how he could be backed anymore. After 180m summer spend, buying in January to get us out of the shit isn't an option."

Re: Moyes Out
he'll be gone in the next few days. there's no way any sane board of directors will stand back and continue with him
Re: Moyes Out
"They won't get rid, the break is gonna save him whereas it should be seen as a unique opportunity to get someone new in. If we was playing Arsenal next week I think people would be a lot more worried. Fact is we're likely to end the year in the bottom 3 after the investment we've had, it's scandalous the cսnt is still here."
Re: Moyes Out
"Agree with Dr Matt - its a collective failure. The club not doing much needed business last January and meekly dropping out of the Euro qualification on the last day of the season. Moyes playing the same losing tactics and tired squad every single game and expecting to win. Letting Pearce and Irvine leave. Am willing to bet the Dwarf, Newman, Moyes and Kretinsky are not on the same page recruitment wise. Who on earth spends 180 milion on attacking talent only to end up bang in a relegation battle? Its pathetic. It's just poor stewarship all around, and moreover not stopping this rot could prove to be the next very costly mistake. We have not seen any signs of improvement, maybe marginally better today than against palace, but overall our performances are poor. Will the club act?"

Re: Moyes Out
"We've improved the squad since last year but performances and results have got worse. The main reason seems to be we start to slow, we don't close down consistently or effectively and we always fail to win the second ball. The players are good enough, but are not playing well enough, we still have too many players who slow the play down and pass sideways or backwards; Paqueta was bought to change this and he looks good. It seems to me that the Cresswells and Rices have allowed complacency and arrogance to set in, these two in particular need to take some responsibility for starting our games at the right tempo and managing the game."

"Steady 9:54 Would love to see either rock up, but not so sure either would be up for a premier league team, London based or not, in the midst of what is becoming increasingly clear a relegation battle."
