Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
"Pub Excellent post. I've never really liked Moyes, even when we winning and in the semi final just knew that it was his limit. His treatment of far to many players is ludicrous."
Re: Moyes Out
master 10:55 Sun Nov 13 Absolutely the point master. The media keep fooling themselves with talk of European football achievements rather than the fact we've been playing rubbish PL football for a whole year across 2 seasons. Even after spending £160m... Moyes is going and it's just a case of when our board feel ready to act...
Re: Moyes Out
"When you look at some of the players signed in the last couple of years who we could have signed for half of what we've spent - it's clear the issue is recruitment. Mitouma, Faes, Palinha, Pope, Pereira, Livramento, etc etc etc"
Re: Moyes Out
"Over the last 31 games in the prem we have won 8, drawn 5 and lost 18. 23 goals scored 46 conceded 29 points from a possible 93."
Re: Moyes Out
"I see Rodgers gave the customary support for a fellow manager when asked about Moyes problems but was revealing and refreshingly honest when he said that the problem was not just about new players but just as much about the decline of existing senior players and the age of some of them. That's Cresswell, Oggy, Antonio, Lanzini, Dawson and some of the younger ones like Soucek, Coufal, Fornals are also in decline. And they are the players Moyes largely sticks with. I suspect Rodgers is saying it's just as if not more important to get them replaced or out of the team as integrate the new signings? Jan transfer activity a must as we still have tge oldest team I think in the Prem? . What a mess"

Re: Moyes Out
What really boils my piss .is the amount of the Moyes in brigade who try and belittle the size of the club and it's history forgetting that Moyes has said himself WHUFC are the biggest underachievers in UK football .
Re: Moyes Out
Despair always follows promise here. The 2003 relegation where we held on to Roeder too long and went down with one of the most promising young sides ever. The 2010 season where we sleep walked to relegation under Grant. The Bilic era where he imploded after a superb prior season but we kept him far too long This club owners do not act decisively and when they should. The warning bells are ringing full volume again and they are making the same mistake again with Moyes.
Re: Moyes Out
"Knicker wetting, Lard!? We're a point above the relegation zone and on a seriously bad run of form. Moyes has overseen a record spend, and we've gone backwards. Here is a list of what David Moyes has known for a long time and failed to fix: 1. A starting left-back. He brought Emerson from Chelsea and only plays him as a wing-back if we play a back five, with Cresswell the preferred choice if we play a back four. I love Cresswell, but his best years are behind him. 2. His delusional self-belief and arrogance. He came in and told us winning is what he does, and there's been a severe lack of that recently. His berating of a journo for calling him 'Moysie' and his pop at the support has shown what an arrogant cսnt he is, especially when the pressure is on. What's he like with the players? 3. His inability to play to our new player's strengths and expects them to adapt to his preferred system. To an extent, the new players could be blamed if Moyes sold his tacticle vision to them and they've failed to adapt. 4. Our young players rarely get a look in, and those considered to have a bright future want to leave. 5. Continuously playing out-of-form players despite them having a negative impact on games. 6. Mistreatment of Benrahman. As frustrating as he is, he's played out of position and been our most credible attacking threat. 7. Playing players out of position. Downes at ten!? Fornals on the wing!? Johnson at centre-half!? How are they supposed to affect games positively when they're in an alien position? It's all about defending front the front and nullifying the player's natural ability. 8. Playing the same way every game, irrespective of results. Moyes's approach has failed repeatedly, and he stubbornly sticks to his way. We're slow, negative, and play far too deep in our half, home and away. There's nothing for the crowd to feed off, and it's turning the supporters against him. Knicker-wetting indeed, Lard."

you're not a west ham fan if you don't agree with the porn dwarves & that negative cսnt of a manager? üòÇ
Re: Moyes Out
"Admiral I think most of us will get behind the team if and when we can but I hope you can see that most comments / thoughts are because people care and have seen in the past what's happening now and where it ends up. We just cannot seem to get away from being in a relegation fight and the 18 months of success we had was just the latest blip in what is year on year struggles. Even when we spend some money we manage to go further backwards. Moyes said he wanted to change us from the ""flaky West Ham""ù we have always been known as. I think he meant it but he is failing and failing badly now. If you could see attempts to change things ( selections, formations, tactics) you might be able to be more supportive. But no, it's looking like 170 million wasted and tge worst team in the division. Naturally despair and frustration which actually equates to people that do care and support the club. You may not feel the need to do this and have more patience and I salute you for that but not all of us are as controlled :-)"
Re: Moyes Out
"I've seen a whole weekend of football due to being somewhat infirmed and I've not seen another team as turgid and laborious as us. I've seen a host of others' uncelebrated summer acquisitions performing at a level significantly above that of our expensive misfits - including young vibrant full backs, ball-playing centre halves, combative midfielders, fast wingers and central strikers. I would also lay money on us being the only team in the division that failed to name a striker on the bench. We're broken"

Re: Moyes Out
The club are backing David Moyes to get us out of the current mess. Best to stop your knicker wetting and get behind the club you love. In some cases on here I a doubt the club is West Ham United

"I'm writing off Arsenal but fuck, Fulham and Brentford are huge. We need a new manager in by then because we have the talent to get six points there but unless Moyes undergoes a revelation we'll lose both"

Re: Moyes Out
Our first 3 games after the World Cup are Fulham and Arsenal away then Brentford home. Realistically we will be lucky to get 1 point by which time we will be in the bottom 3. Do they then sack him and start looking for a manager after wasting 6 weeks when they could have got someone in?

I don't get the loyalty from the board. We are only going to one place. The championship.

Re: Moyes Out
"Soucek said ""I think the break [for the World Cup] can be good for us. When I arrived at West Ham United, we had to deal with Covid. There was a break ""ì where we did a small pre-season ""ì and from that time, we saw our best years here. I hope that all of us will think about [the break] this way and we will be much better in the Christmas period. We can turn it around again, as we are not even half of the way through the season."" Doubling down on Moyes in the hope the break miraculously produces a complete change in form is moronic. The longer this shit goes on it becomes the fault of our owners for not acting."
