Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"

Re: Moyes Out
"Doesn't Mark Noble say in his book that Moyes is an excellent man manager? I expect Kral would know better, though - the serial failure. I do think it's time for change but there's no need to keep making stuff up to convince yourself"

Re: Moyes Out
"Kandu, i agree with you on this: You can't know he'll be a success. No you can't, nothing is certain in football except the fact that not changing things can cost you more than you want to accept. But if you took an objective take at Porch and Moyes, wich one would you think had the best rating in Europe? This answer will tell me everything I need to know about your football knowledge."

Re: Moyes Out
"I really wonder if Kral's interview came as a surprise to anyone? Man management has been one of his blatant weaknesses over the years. Moyes has been found out by a majority of fans, and rightly so."

"Barring something very unexpected, we can safely say now that he's going to be in charge on Boxing day, fucking ridiculous. Massive window of opportunity missed. Same old."

Re: Moyes Out
Alex krals comments about Moyes are I suspect shared by a lot of the squad. This team should never be in the position it's in . But it's no surprise if a manager treats people like shit that eventually there will be a push back against him .
Re: Moyes Out
"AKA ERNIE 8:45 Wed Nov 16 Re: Moyes Out Obviously speculation Ernie. You can't know he'll be a success. For the record I'm still for giving Moyes more time but currently have to agree it seems unlikely he'll turn it around. Unlikely, not impossible. If Moyes were to go I would welcome Pochettino. I also like the idea of Bielsa managing us one day."
Re: Moyes Out
"Searlo1966 7:27 Wed Nov 16 Re: Moyes Out Omg Kandu. What has Moyes won? Nothing. My point is some on here slag Moyes off for not winning anything but want Pochetino in instead, who has also not won anything"

Re: Moyes Out
"It cannot be a coincidence that good players with decent records before joining us turn out to look utter duds under Moyes They then leave and flourish elsewhere This cretin is ruining players careers and is contributing towards Rice being disillusioned and seeking an exit come the summer The clowns in charge refuse to see this as they think Moyes will turn it around, he won't, he has limitations that hold us back It's fucking painful watching us play, we are a shocking team currently"
Re: Moyes Out
"I reckon the owners will wait too long as usual. I doubt they have contacted anyone yet but as reported have been made aware by agents who's up for the job should it become available. Problem for them is that bringing someone new in will likely mean a material investment once more in players as the new man will make that a pre-condition. Unless he's one of the usual crony type manager they go for. Sullivan might get the striker Moyes is probably telling him is all that is needed. That would be far less expensive and for once you can see why after backing Moyes to the tune of 160 -170 million in players and none of them looking any good yet with the exception of Downes who he won't play in his proper position. We will lose with a whimper to Arsenal and perhaps play ok in spells without threatening but they have pace and movement everywhere which is Moyes's West Ham's kryptonite. Whoever comes in or even if Moyes is retained has to fix the wing back roles and get in a new striker. But in the Jan window with our dithering and Moyes dithering we will not get them. Moyes will be gone by end of Jan is my prediction based on what I have seen this season and the end of last. His game plan was sussed out, we let the squad run down to the bone marrow in the bare bones which was always going to be difficult to rectify in one window anyway and he and his coaching staff have shown no aptitude or idea on how to get the team playing differently and to take advantage of some of the players that were brought in. Not seen one game where I thought ""ok I can see what he's trying to do"". All I see is a man flailing and failing... Paqueta in the wrong position, still just one striker ( and one who is played like Antonio as a ""hold it up"" lone front man which he is not ) a very promising, young midfielder who is a great passer and good at intercepting the ball who he never picks because he wants to keep his ""Poor man's Fellani"" in the team at all costs, an ageing left back, our best player this season always subbed until recently. Just some of the madness we are witnessing. Not one sign of hope or the ""green shoots of recovery"". Gone by end of Jan without a miracle occuring or someone else outside the current crop taking over the tactics and coaching. Thomas Frank probably my choice but a non-starter, as Sullivan would never pay compensation. I suspect we will end up with Benitez ( fits the crony type I mention and like all West Ham managers under GSB will be old)."

Re: Moyes Out
"progression and being progressive are two different things. the way things are, Steve Bruce could probably give some progression at the moment but wouldnt be considered a 'progressive' appointment. progressive suggests someone operating outside the norm with their approach & methods. at Southampton Pochettino was absolutely seen as progressive in his approach. now that approach has been copied and is more common place. that doesnt mean i dont think he'll be good, but to Russ' point he's not someone so progressive that our board wouldnt approach him."

Re: Moyes Out
"""what is so progressive about Pochettino"" He'd be a vast improvement on what we already have. Is that not progression?"
Re: Moyes Out
Russ of the BML 5:15 Wed Nov 16 Re: Moyes Out you saying the board arent aware of him or wouldn't ask him to be manager? the second of the two is just an assumption. what is so progressive about Pochettino?
Re: Moyes Out
To the Moyes outers who want Pochettino in. What has he actually won ? And don't say Ligue Un with PSG. Fucking daveyg or vexed could manage them and win it

Re: Moyes Out
"Charoo 3:41 Wed Nov 16 I didn't say it was 'your' assumption. It's that of the lazy journalism. He turned Villa down. And so the reports then say ""sources close to him suggest he's waiting for a team in CL"" They don;t have any sources. And if they did they've not been told directly that MP has said he wants to manage a CL club. It's just made up crap based on an assumption."

"goose 3:36 Wed Nov 16 I said ""he's far too progressive - for our board"". Your other comments are basically in agreement with what I have always said. Yes, he is the most obvious name out there to everyone - Apart from our board."

Re: Moyes Out
"i think realistically we're a good fit for pochettino, not that he would want to admit that. he did a recent interview in spanish where he talked about wanting to manage a club that could ""win the champions league"". i imagine potter's start at chelsea will have him circling like a vulture, though if potter does get the boot maybe that'll work out even better for us."
Re: Moyes Out
"Russ ""Just a lazy assumption""ù No not really - multiple articles written about it online, Villa apparently made an ""eye watering approach to Mauricio Pochettino but as reported elsewhere those close to him believe he will wait for other opportunities.""ù That's Matt Law but have a Google and it's in lots or reported articles. Nothing about my assumptions. As for if West Ham have approached him I really wouldn't know that and I doubt you do either."
Re: Moyes Out
"what makes you think he's progressive Russ? i'd say his approach is probably the norm these days. his track record in spain, england and france is pretty decent. he's prob the first name that'll come up for any top half PL team. if anything he's the most obvious name out there."

Re: Moyes Out
"Charoo 3:25 Wed Nov 16 To create a rumour of that nature there needs to be interest from the club. Do you think our owners have approached him? NO, they haven't. So it's not a rumour you've heard, it's just a lazy assumption that because he was at PSG he will now no longer entertain clubs outside of the top 4 in any league. He's not stated that and so, as it stands, there's no reason to believe that with the right contract, the right project plan and the required investment in players and facilities, he won't come to us. But I do think we'll be wating a long time as he is far too progressive for our board."
Re: Moyes Out
"I guess the owners are just banking on him keeping us up. Any other ambition for this season has pretty much gone, and that probably includes the ECL as it will be PL survival at all costs."
