Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
"Right, straw. So, both south American, both managed at big clubs and in Premier League. Same initials even. But apparently they have nothing in common. What's so different about them? Must be their hairstyle, I guess. Or can you actually elaborate what you're on about?"

Re: Moyes Out
the straw 6:39 Mon Dec 5 True Pochetino never won the Premier League or a Cup in England.
Re: Moyes Out
Nope. The appointment of Pellegrini is nothing like if they bring Poch in. Apart from them sharing the same initials.
Re: Moyes Out
"the straw 4:23 Mon Dec 5 Not sure what you mean by ""they've never made an appointment like that"". It was only a few years ago that they hired a south American coach who'd been fairly successful in the premier league and previously managed a massive club like Real Madrid. In fact, if anything, the similarities between Pellegrini and Pochettino would be more likely to put them off probably. Pochettino played for 10 seasons at Espanyol. That's completely different to managing a club who sacked him after a few seasons. And he backtracked on that statement anyway, saying it was an exaggeration to say he could never manage Barcelona."
Re: Moyes Out
"why is there still activity on this thread? he hasn't gone, so no chance he will be gone until Christmas, earliest now. We're stuck with him. rice will leave end of season"
Re: Moyes Out
"No chance they would go for Pochettino. They've never made an appointment like that. And anyway, this is the guy who said he would never manage Barcelona out of respect to his former club Espanyol. Doubt after being at Spurs he'll want to take the West Ham job."
Re: Moyes Out
"There's a part of me that hopes he turns this around, as the longer they dither, the more chance of them shopping for his replacement in the bargain basement."

Re: Moyes Out
We are in the top 20 clubs in Europe for turnover/revenue and the 8th in this country. We are an attractive option - If Pochettino is still living in London why wouldn't he see us as an intriguing proposition? I reckon he would take the job
Re: Moyes Out
"If we are in the bottom three at the beginning of Jan 2023 and/ or knocked out of the cup by Brentford, there is nothing to be done but an immediate sacking of Moyes. Pochetino said yesterday he still lives in London and I think he should be our first target. If necessary Noble should be a caretaker until a permanent manager comes in. He couldn't be any worse than the gloomy jock."

Re: Moyes Out
"If he's having a jolly up with Messrs Keys and Gray for Bein Sports in Qatar with all the other dinosaurs they are great ""pals"" with then that tells you all that is necessary to know. 70 matches against the big four or six - no wins - not even a single solitary 3 points. Trouble is, Sully and Gold are part of the old pals act...and there lies the rub."
Re: Moyes Out
"Have they returned from their holidays yet? Can't imagine why they earnt one, certainly not because they were exhausted at all the energy they put in, most never turned up. Perhaps it was boredom caused by the predictable and lamentable tactics employed by moyes and his so-called coaching team!"
Re: Moyes Out
"That would be ducking daft, considering he's won fuck all in his entire managerial career. I still can't get over the stat away at the big six. Played seventy, won zero. 'Winning is what I do.'"
Re: Moyes Out
No way Moyesiah getting sacked while we're still in Europe and have chance of willing something

Re: Moyes Out
"The school of thought that G&S have lost some interest, got bored, want to cash in and move on etc and will only sack Moyes if we are in real danger of going down does seem pretty credible at this point. Bringing in a new manager may not suit the new owners, so they will keep Moyes on and let them decide what to do. The whole club is stale now, fully expecting normal service to resume for a while at least after a couple of good years."

Re: Moyes Out
He's staying til at least the Brentford game . Unbelievable incompetence by the shysters just goes to show that 17th and above is all they care about. Still just watch the likes of talkshite defend them and attack WHUFC fans for daring to have any ambition.
Re: Moyes Out
"As predicted by many of us. Another old fashioned, non footballing, slow as a snail CB to hoof it back to the opposition or get done for pace. No sign of any change of system if this happens and actually more an entrenchment to the only way a Moyes team plays. Sit deep, keep the shape, compact for 60-70 mins and score from counterattacks or set pieces if possible once we are 1 or 2 down. https://www.claretandhugh.info/report-irons-weighing-up-pl-loan/"

Re: Moyes Out
Massive outlay last summer with the potential sale of Rice either in January or the summer in mind. Recoup 50% +of what we laid out. Does anyone really trust Moyes to spend any transfer budget well or utilise any players that we may get in exchange to sweeten the deal.

Re: Moyes Out
"""However, a new manager might convince Rice to stay and Sullivan won't want that. Rice is an asset they want to cash in on before they cash in on the whole club."" How do you square that theory with the transfer spend this year. I can't stand them either but it's a bit of a stretch."

Re: Moyes Out
"can't think of a worse case of an anti climax regarding us, the only way it could have gone worse is rolling out of the european qualifier. it's been an absolute fucking car crash season that getting worse by the week. we don't deserve to be run by such incompetent cunts"
