Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
We spend over 75% of games defending. The defenders are being asked to do twice as much work as they'd normally be expected to and not make any mistakes with that double work load. It's not reasonable or sustainable. The attackers aren't attacking and hence very few goals. We are set up to get corners or freekicks to nick a goal or the odd penalty. All other forward play is sacrificed for defensive shape and 'possession' of the ball as our least attacking players pass it between themselves and the opposition get into their defensive shape.
Re: Moyes Out
GSB must be waiting for Mr West Ham to be appointed in the New Year so he can move over before sacking Moyes.
Re: Moyes Out
"Exactly. Bowen, Scamacca, Benrahma, Cornet, Antonio etc etc arent prolific but will score goals. Problem is we have no pattern of play, no idea how we'll get from one end of the pitch to the other. Have a look when we win the ball back, the poor bastard on the ball has zero options. I'm not sure what we do in training aside from how to defend deep in numbers."

Re: Moyes Out
"Yeah, I don't think anyone has noticed that, coma. I haven't mentioned it about a thousand times on here, boring cսnt that I am. We have scored 13 goals in 16 games. This manager is taking us down, I genuinely hope we don't scrape a win against Brentford to paper over the cracks. I hope we win, but only if we win well, another flukey win delays the inevitable, and will further damage the club long term."
Re: Moyes Out
"We haven't got a clue going forward. We play the ball out for defence down the left. Realise there's nothing on, play it back across the defence to the right. Realise there's nothing on, play it back to the defence and to the left (about 3 times) And then give the ball away."
Re: Moyes Out
"Despite what people think it's not so much our defending ( only five teams having conceded more than us this season ) that is our big problem rather it's our failure to score as many as we have previously. And we have not really had a chance to settle our defence with a consistent back four. What we are doing when we get the ball is the big issue. We are not making or taking sufficient goal chances, not taking ( or have been found out and catered for) advantage of dead ball opportunities either. So I am not as unhappy with our defending as I am with our inability to create and take chances. Who is going to put the ball in the net for us?"

"He doesn't know what man management is? I think G & S should give keep dreaming a call about the job, he is a fucking expert. I blame FIFA computer games."
Re: Moyes Out
"I would give Moyes an ultimatum with the Brentford game If you don't win it then you are gone, that night. Bring Noble in as caretaker till successor is chosen. Moyes wins the game, give him Wan Bissaka and another 5 games"

"Last 30 Premier League Games under Moyes Win 8 Drawn 6 Lost 16 26.67% win percentage Has to go. If we continue on that form until end of season, we will struggle to get to 36 points."

Re: Moyes Out
"As said earlier, we are getting a free pass in the media despite being absolutely shit all year, which probably only means one of two things - either Moyes is being protected by his mates, or they think we are just in our rightful place. It's quite depressing in a way that we seem to be regarded as irrelevant by most, no more than a Fulham or a Palace, so much for the stadium move increasing our profile."

Re: Moyes Out
Mad dog. Moyes isn't interested in a bug squad. Never has and never will. He doesn't know what man management is and only want 12-15 players he can run to the ground.
Re: Moyes Out
"To he clear, that squad is plenty good enough to finish comfortably in the Premier League irrespective of who signed the players. Our current issues are entirely down to approach, not personnel. Moyes will never adapt from his style even if its clear its not working. It's a risk-off approach and we pretty much have to go one down to start playing. Antonio alluded to it recently that Moyes only lets them get for it for the last 10 minutes, other than that, the plan is to not go more than one behind so we are always on the game. With a more positive approach, we will be just fine. For all the credit he earned, he is very quickly becoming as arrogant and stubborn and dare I say hated as Allardyce."
Re: Moyes Out
"So it's everyone else's fault except Moyes? Moyes didn't think we needed a striker last year. Moyes wanted Lingard this year. Moyes plays players out of the positions or style that they made their name in. Moyes sets up to try not to lose, despite this tactic not working for his entire managerial career he stubbornly sticks by it. A different manager has this squad in the European places, of that I have no doubt."
Re: Moyes Out
"Even with a new manager I can't see us getting anything different with the new players we have. They don't suit the premier league. That is on who ever signed these players and I'm 99% sure it wasn't Moyes. When Aguerd our left footed left sided CB got injured, we brought in Kehrer a right footed CB/RB with no hight. Was it a case of Sullivan having done business with PSG before so he asked who else have you got for sale. Why did we go from Broja & Watkins, both who run the channels and high press to Hellar MK2. Why almost sign Onana a DM to then sign Downes a CMF Why get Emerson to replace Cresswell when we all know he isn't very good, was it another case of Sullivan can do business with Chelsea so instead of going after who Moyes wants sticks with his usual contacts."

Re: Moyes Out
"He is still living off the Lyon and Sevilla results. Everything else has been fucking dire and the sooner he fucks off the better all round. He had his flash in the pan results, the club need to stop living in the past otherwise it will be another sleepwalk to relegation."

Re: Moyes Out
"Can't believe he's still here, anyone got the updated league stats from the last year? It's literally only europe that's masked moyes' performance"
Re: Moyes Out
"I was thinking earlier, can you imagine how bad we would be without Rice? Shudders! It's not just Moyes, it's how the club is run. You look at Brighton and Brentford, in the last couple of years they seem to have a plan. Brighton seem to have transformed the club since the Hughton years and Brentford are definitely doing something right and yet how many good seasons have we had under Sullivan? I cannot see how you can have players at the club who haven't been picked by the manager and there clearly are. If Moyes chose them all and now ignores some of them then that makes him even worse but Sullivan clearly can't resist sticking his oar in. It really does need ripping up and starting again. Far too many players either old or slow or both and a manager who is a one trick pony."
